Round Robin All Time Lightweight Tourney

I don't know everyone who should be in it. For sure the following:

    1 Gans
    2 B. Leonard
    3 Duran
    4 Pacquiao
    5 Beau Jack?
    6 Joe Brown?
    7
    8
    9
    10

We will be weighing in the day of each match, to discourage water bullies.

What about Sweet P Whitaker? He’s an ATG lightweight by most people’s standards

Whittaker has to be in there, whether some people like him or not it gives credibility. Canzoneri I would say is another 'must have'.
Carlos Ortiz is worthy of consideration, and probably makes the list.
Angott, and Ike Williams are fighters that may make a top 10 if there are extra spaces needed.

There are also guys who had shorter runs at LW, but may have been at there best there: Ross, Armstrong, and Mayweather (the PBF years)

Also, Julio Cezar Chavez Sr. had a prominent career at Lightweight and Super Lightweight. Shouldn’t he be counted as well?

JCC is interesting, he had about a dozen or so fights at LW early in his career, but only a couple against world class opposition. I'm sure he would've been great at LW long term had he stuck around, but I dont think its right to judge his work at SLW and transfer it over to LW (at least for this discussion). Otherwise we could do the same for fighters who did a lot of work near LW (Arguello, Pryor, etc).

I think the same could be said for SRR (to even a greater extent), sure he started out at LW, but he was just a youngster at that weight, not really a prime version. To transpose his WW work to LW would be disingenuous.

To me there is a material difference between these examples, and Floyd and Armstrong. Who were at their prime while at LW, but just moved through the weight class (in differing ways)

I’m pretty sure Battling Nelson is considered an ATG lightweight. So, why don’t we include him too
