    - -Bayliss was riding Canelo's back in the first half of the fight like anyone who ever looked like a threat. Never landed a single punch?

Stop swimming in U punchbowl and see if U can find U drowned IQ.

Canelo looked like an amateur in that fight

Reality says otherwise. Canelo never landed a punch. Hes too tight like every other ammy out there trained to coil their punches and sprint for the short duration of the fight. He still has stamina issues. Mayweather was fluid like water and rolled or slipped everything he threw, canelo landing nothing more than grazing shots at best and got dominated. Especially if you rewatch the fight now you can see clear as day

He got out boxed - TUE never dominated. When great fighters dominate they leave destruction behind them.

Very fluid yes, rolled and slipped beautifully, yes - too bad he didn't step up and turned it into a fight.

I guess 12 rounds of boxing excites some; though it would have been nice to see a fight break out for at least for a couple of rounds anyway.

But if it's your intention to just box for 12 rounds, never take a risk, and wait for three fat white men sitting at ring side to announce you are the winner, you could probably go undefeated.

Did TUE ever once bring a crowd to a frenzy of excitement? Actually didn't he use to get 'walk outs'?

TUE was masterful at making sure the boxing never became a fight. Never dominated, just slipped and slide, fluid like water.

P.S. When Tunney out boxed Dempsey in 1926 he dominated him. Busted up his face real good. That's what domination looks like.

Damn right. I can't remember if I even gave Canelo a single round.

I reserve the word donination for either scenario, you beat up someone or you win every round and they cant do anything. I should say they though yeah, by all time standards it was no domination, more so neither if them could hurt eachother - sort of like a play fight. By contemporary standards it was a domination though. It was one if the few fights where mayweather not only evaded 99.9 percent of the punches but actually landed flush a few times himself

On the other hand, it can be argued that 1992 Holyfield was better than prime Liston. He was at the very least an equal tier of fighter as Liston.
This would be a tough old fight. I'm gonna go with Liston tho.. The proven tough guy. Liston by decision

                      - - Bowe lucked into the Vander style of wanting to man up strength to strength that favored the bigger Bowe who had a bully complex he could never shake.

Liston in turn never given credit for his obvious intelligence because of media depictions as a criminally prone monster, but I suggest he would out smart Big Dummy in the early goings before timing him coming in, and Sonny hits just as hard as Lewis did.
