I am 1 episode in, a bit disappointed. So far its come off as "Ray Leonard....and the rest". It reminds me of how the 'Last Dance' was fun, but for the most part a pro Michael Jordan hype piece.
I have a feeling it will continue to be the same, if not get worst; as it was, it went the first 40 minutes before bringing up Roberto Duran and then ends after the Brawl in Montreal. Even though Duran won that fight they spent as much time depicting it as how Leonard won and Duran would never be the same. If thats all the love they give to one of the kings, and possibly the greatest LW ever, I am hesitant about what the rest is going to be.

Any documentary is at the mercy of the writer's bias - Leonard has always been the golden child - it would be interesting to know if the original (book) author George Kimball wrote as slanted a work or did Showtime choose to emphasis Leonard.

I read, and loved, kimballs work. It was balanced and fair to each of the kings
