I get what you're saying, but do think there is a place for compubox. If a fight goes the distance you can look at it two ways. Who landed more, or who landed harder. But if both have landed solid punches throughout the fight and it goes to decision do you not think it matters who threw and landed more punches? Of course that isn't the end all. But like I said, I think it has its place.

according to this pep fool any fighter that jumps up in weight must stand toe to toe and throw bombs at the bigger fighter till that smaller fighter gets overcome.....work that one out.
And You can beat them on points because you used your natural skill but you didn’t really win because you decided to box him and not fight at a disadvantage.
pep is almost on the same level as queenie.....both fruit of the looms for sure

is that why the whole crowd were solidly in Leonard’s favour in the 12th round ? I remember winning money on it and I remember my brother running down the bookies to see me lose my money and after the fight my brother who was a hagler man openly admitted leonard won.....in the words of Gil Clancy in the 11th....he has hagler tamed now

Leonard totally outsped Hagler that night. The only way Marvin could have won was by ko or being an effective aggressor. He did neither.

He foolishly followed Leonard around the ring making him look great. It's what Duran refused to do in III.

                  - -Which crowd? Fight was ppv with fight parties everywhere.

Everyone agrees Marv fought a bad fight, but a running skeetering Ray with his popcorn flurries tamed nobody that night. That he ducked the lucrative rematch to return against the shadows of Tommy or Roberto, ect showed what a brittle, scheming coyote he really was. Big fan of both, but all of Ray transferred to Marv that night. He retired honorably after a year of fruitlessly trying to make the rematch that the people wanted, and so what did Ray do?

He announced a comeback and said he was open for scheming, juking, jiving bizness as usual. He ran from a near 40 year old Duran with more than double the rounds and fights of Ray, and the old guy still managed to cut him up.
