10-9 No KD; 10-8 one KD; 10-7 two KDs ---- third KD in a round almost always ends the fight.

The expanded scoring I was suggesting was getting kicked around in the late 80s and 90s but it never got picked up by the judges.

Maybe it would change ( increase) the action if judges split close rounds from dominate ones , encouraging a more aggressive style and in the process increase the importance of a KD (with one KD getting a 10-7 round.)

****ers would like it more than boxers.

As I added above Camacho-Rosairo is a good example: Camacho won with more rounds but many fetlt like Rosairo won the fight. Giving Rosairo a coupe of 10-8s for some dominate rounds moves the score to a draw.
I would not mind that kind of scoring

Disagree. Definitely a close fight. I had SRL winning doe.

Round 1: SRL 10-9, SRL 10-9, all SRL, MMH just stalking him the whole rd

Round 2: SRL 10-9, SRL 20-18, closer rd, but SRL landing the better shots, holding alot doe too

Round 3: SRL 10-9, SRL 30-27, pretty close rd, couldn't fault anyone for giving this one to MMH

Round 4: SRL 10-9, SRL 40-36, lotsa running & holding by SRL, but still doing more work too

Round 5: MMH 10-9, SRL 49-46, really good rd for MMH, last min was pretty much all MMH

Round 6: SRL 10-9, SRL 59-55, close-ish rd, thought SRL had the more meaningful punches + more active

Round 7: MMH 10-9, SRL 68-65, easy MMH rd, SRL kinda took it off it looked like

Round 8: SRL 10-9, SRL 78-74, SRL more effective, making MMH miss & pay much of the rd

Round 9: MMH 10-9, SRL 87-84, a war in this rd, SRL on the ropes for most of the rd which got MMH landing some good shots

Round 10: MMH 10-9, SRL 96-94, MMH more consistent, SRL fighting in spurts

Round 11: MMH 10-9, SRL 105-104, MMH again more consistent, SRL looks exhausted & fighting in spurts

Round 12: SRL 10-9, SRL 115-113, SRL doing a lot of running, but also much more effective

Your problem, Willie, is proper English confuses you. I didn't say he LOOKED beaten, I said he was beaten. You would have put it, "He was beat soundly."

Have you ever heard of hit and don't be hit? Have you ever fought before? It's obvious the answer to both questions is no. So you will have to pardon me if I don't join in on your binge drinking and one man game of "the socially inept and galactically ******".

Leonard clearly outsped and outboxed Hagler. I was never a fan of Leonard but he had Marvins number that night. He looked in slow motion in comparison.

Exactly. I dont know how anyone couldve had Hagler winning. The most I can see is a 7-5 fight for Leonard.
