Between 1910 and 1940 there were 27 ***ish world-boxing champions at a time when the sport was an integral part of American popular culture.

The Irish, ***ish, Italian, Black, Puerto Rican and the Mexican. Coming from tough enviroments such as the Soviet Union, Manila, Managua or Tijauna has shaped many of our generations fighters. It is always interesting to see how the socio-economic landscape has played a major role into who is leading in the fight game.
