And I'll give you Juvenile's home state being Lou, but the song was made popular on the East Coast. Deny that.
At first I thought it was mistake, but you really believe Nelly and Juvenile are from East Coast.

Nelly is from the dirty south, he's always claimed that. And did you seriously just posted a map that clearly shows Missouri is not in the East Coast? Look at Missouri, it's not in the blue section, that means it's not in the East Coast.

Juvenile does not represent East Coast at all. None of his songs do, he's N.O. rapper and reps NO, not East Coast.

Here you go, I put black crosses on your own map to show you where MI is.

The East/West dynamic started with Pac,Dre, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop, LL, etc. In fact, it was Pac who lit the fire of "West Coast" under people's asses when he left Digital Underground and went on his own. SO let's go down your list.

You have called out effectively four rappers: Cube, Dre, Snoop and Pac.

      Where's MC Breed?

      Where's MC Brains?

      Where's Scarface?

      Where's Too $hort?

      Where's Crucial Conflict?

And if you REALLY want to be talking old school...

      Where's Brotherhood Creed?
Where's R. Kelly (yes, he started as a rapper)?
Where's Bobby Brown (yes, he had rap songs)?
Where's Bell Biv Devoe (yes, they had rap songs)?
Enough trolling. You've gone too far.

Scarface is from Houston, Texas, that's the South, not West Coast.

MC Breed is from Flint, MI, that's Mid West, not West Coast.

MC Brains is from Cleveland, Ohio, that's midwest.

Bobby Brown - Boston, MA - East Coast

Crucial Conflict is from Chicago, again, midwest.

      R. Kelly - Chicago

Bell Biv Devoe - Boston, MA

In the world of rap war, especially during the songs you listed, there were TWO COASTS: East, West.

West Coast was California. Weren't no rappers ****ing on Oregon. LOL

Anything east of the Rockies was East Coast.

The South didn't become a thing until well after the era of the songs you listed!

That's intentional. If you want to start talking about REAL old school, then let's open the gates up. East/West don't matter then because it wasn't a thing in REAL old school rappers bro.

Do you really think De La Soul, KRS One, or even Sugar Hill Gang gave a damn what coast they were on? No. They were about entertainment and flow. So let's go there then

you really shouldnt debate for west coast rap, it sounds like you dont know **** about who is from west coast and east coast ,crucial conflict and scarface are not from the west , juvenile and nelly arent from the east, i do agree with you that kevins top 10 list sounds like a list from somebody from somewhere not west coast,

            mc brains, wtf?????????/

by the way boby brown, bell , bro creed, r.kelly , what the **** are they on this list for, not west and they are and will never be great in terms of west coast rap, they never were and never will be.

you need to study up rev. you cant be making arguments with misinformation, kevins list wasnt the list id expect but a top 10 west coast list is based on opinion

Here is a better top 10 list (In no particular order) Kev tried, bless his east coast heart.

              Ice T:

              Eazy E:

              Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg:

              Ice Cube:

              Too Short:

              MC Eiht:

              E40:

              DJ Quik:

              Mac Mall:

              Luniz:

              The list is so subjective.

You could have quite a few different songs from each of these artists that are considered classics.

Plus the honorable mentions list could go on forever.

oh and whats up with all the main stream LA shttt getting listed?? you missing the underground cali sound of the 90's...we was killing it up north during that time period and there was alot of talent in so-cal besides all that nwa offshoots/deathrow/g-funk that was was getting most of the national play...

Of course I won't have Too Short. How the heck am I going to put a Too Short song on a top 10 west coast songs of all time list? What you want me to put Blow Job Betty on there? I could've made a top 25 list and still not put one of his songs. I could name 10 more songs I felt bad for leaving out and none are from TS.
Why not Too Short - Top Down...those were some fine as tetties in that video clip
