For example, if you try to make a best East Coast songs, i'd probably find it amusing too.
We appreciate different songs from the West Coast a little different than you do. There's a certain sound of the west coast that we're used to, that west coasters don't agree is representative of their rap. I think your pov of west coast music is more eccentric than what we like of your side.
Give me your top 10 east coast rap songs off the top of your head.

Maybe 2000 is old school to you, but I don't agree. There's a golden era of rap, silver, bronze, and finally **** era, 2000 is not the gold/old school era. I like some of the 2000+ songs you mentioned, especially Lay Low, I was going list that one, but it would go against my list.
And like I said, you see many of those songs aren't even what represents old school hip hop in the West Coast to us. A lot of those are plain whack, sorry. But I know there's songs that I think represent old school East Coast that you would not be impressed with. It goes both ways. I think my list has the very best, most popular songs that made the old school West Coast hip hop scene popular and it's an actual old school list not 2000s songs.

Juvenile is also from the South. I love Juvenile, but he's from New Orleans, that's in Louisiana.
Come on man get your coasts straight

I think my list has the very best, most popular songs that made the old school West Coast hip hop scene popular and it's an actual old school list not 2000s songs.
The East/West dynamic started with Pac,Dre, Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop, LL, etc. In fact, it was Pac who lit the fire of "West Coast" under people's asses when he left Digital Underground and went on his own. SO let's go down your list.

And I'll give you Juvenile's home state being Lou, but the song was made popular on the East Coast. Deny that.
