So Brother Mind, why did God create evil?
Yes, it is speculation with regard to the timeline, but valid none the less...

Your question is not why did God create Lucifer who created evil, but why did God create free will... There would be no free will without the option to do the wrong thing...

    James 4:17 KJV

Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, it is sin.

    Genesis 1:31 KJV

And God saw everything that he had made, and, behold, it was very good.

There are sins of commission and sins of omission...
If we don't do that which we know we should, that is a sin of omission... (The parable of the Good Samaritan Luke 10: 25-37.)

God is Perfect, Righteous and sins Not... God has infinite ability and creativity...
For Him not to share His power through creation, would be considered a sin of omission...

When God created the Angelic Realm, He did not create robots...
With a certain measure of free will, individuals can choose what to do and how to do it...

All without flaw is perfect, individuals doing the same things differently are not flawed, just creative within their own imagination...

Unless God created robots, the potential for folly would exist...

As God warned Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, so did the Angels have a warning written in their hearts...

They did not know good or evil, but they knew not to think of themselves above God their creator...

Lucifer's Pride corrupted his judgment and he sought to take heaven by violence and overthrow God..
Satan and the Fallen Angels will pay the price for what they've done... But Satan did not have the power to force evil upon us, it was our choice...

The reality is this, regardless of Lucifer's creation of evil, it would have no bearing on us if we didn't choose to sin ourselves.

As painful as it might be to admit, we created our own evil...

Adam and Eve did not know good or evil, but they chose to know good and evil... You want to know who created evil ???
I see it when I look in the mirror, the Sin of our ancestor Adam did create evil within our imaginations and within our generations...

What has happened cannot be changed, but what will happen is up to us...

God has given us the opportunity to live without Sin for eternity in Heaven with Him... Through the blood of Jesus Christ, our sins are washed away...

Evil was brought to us through Adam, and salvation is brought to us through Jesus Christ...

Siablo, because of the deep dive, I must address them...

As for the demons, as long as they have time before the judgment, they can choose their path...
They know God is Truth and His Word will not be broken...

They know what will happened to Satan, why they don't choose their own Rebellion is puzzling...

Can Satan love them more then the perfect love that God loved them with ???

If they were not content with God's perfect Love, then how could they stay content with what passes for Satan's love ???

If Satan would have been successful, wouldn't the demons eventually overthrow him, seeing he is not remotely perfect...

And Satan having great intelligence, wouldn't he foresee their future Rebellion and bind them ???

Everything they do is doomed, the only logical response is to stop the Rebellion and throw themselves upon the Mercy of God their creator...
They must show faith that the God of Mercy will show a form of Mercy to them...

As Jesus showed a form of Mercy (Luke 8: 26-39) to the Legion by allowing them to enter into the swine and not casting them out utterly into the deep, He also may show a form of Mercy to them should they ask sincerely and with faith...

No, Brother Mind. My question is, why did God create evil?

Don't sidetrack with that freewill tosh because it is obvious the freewill that you guys say we have is limited.

So just answer why did God create evil and folks who He knew before creating them that they would go on to do great evil deeds?

Just give a straight answer, if you don't have one. Just say you don't know.

God did not create evil, God can't be tempted or tempt anyone to do evil...

          James 1:13 KJV

Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted of evil, neither he tempteth any man:

          Hebrews 6:18 KJV

It was impossible for God to lie,

          Hebrews 13:8 KJV

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

It's impossible for God to lie, and God never changes...

          Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV

He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.

In God's Word, He says that He has no iniquity, no evil, He cannot lie, He never changes, He is perfect, His Word is Truth...

If God says He did not create evil, then He did not create evil... I trust God's Word !!!

                Red, no...

                Blue,
Yes, God knows what the demons will do, but the demons themselves don't know what they will do...
Free will, they have that until the judgment...

What is written is what Satan will do, and how the end will unfold...
This does not mean that some of the demons won't stop their Rebellion...

You are assuming. Evil means evil. Where in the Bible does it state that evil doesn't mean evil there
