Without the war on drugs, there would be no money in drug trafficking.

is there an alternative to warring against hard drugs ???
no country has an ''all the hard drugs you want'' policy. small, not for sale amounts at best. and one must look at the countries that have that policy...
does it have a minuscule population ?
is it a steaming shlt box of a country ?
if america, home of 326 MILLION people, went the ''small, not for sale amount'' route, what effect would that have on drug cartels ?!?!?
people who do hard drugs tend to do whatever it takes to obtain it. i doubt people will promise to behave if the laws were loosened.
just my 2 cents

I wouldn't mind ice but its just basically a welfare system to employ a bunch of people. If ice and people really cared about illegals etc they will be punishing business that employs illegals instead of going after the pawns in the game (actual border jumpers) same way if they really cared about drug dealing they will go after the big fishes etc instead of focusing all their resources on the crackheads, reason they do it is job security. for every inmate (illegals in ice detention centers aswell) the organizations gets a set amount varys from state to state but roughly around say 60K a year per inmate, but you dont have to spend 60K on the inmate thats just what they give you per inmate if you can figure out how to house that inmate for cheaper you can pocket the rest, reason phoenix jails gives you 2 cold meals a day that cost them what like a penny to make.
just like prison system and jail system have private jails and prisons, same with ice detentions etc etc.
its all buisness, if people kept it real and actually cared about the issues etc something might get done but its just business as usually companies exploiting people to exploit the corrupted officials/system to put our tax dollars into the pockets of these private en******.
