Besides all of that, what exactly are the mounting sanctions intended to accomplish? Could anyone here who supports them fill me in on your long-term vision?
Is the hope that Russia will elect some Trudeau-caliber puppet/actor candidate & voluntarily bow to our demands without getting anything in return? This is the Cold War paradigm. We don't expect that from any other major world powers. Our demands will become increasingly bizarre in order to justify the pet feud of our intelligence community.
The outgoing US administration flat out refused to deal with ISIS on the basis that the Russians were just as bad, the real threat, don't bake wedding cakes for ****s.
Anything they could come up with to make the "rival" look bad even if it meant hundreds of thousands of children being ****d and murdered.
