That doesn't annoy you when they over do it? I remember this one waitress came over every like 5 minutes, I just wanted to enjoy my steak in peace.

well, i think them coming over once after the food is served is good...but, i do want to them to walk by every now and then to see if im ok with drinks and stuff

if you've ever gone to a chinese/asian restaurant, you will almost not want to tip at all..

That's one way to look at it; but I generally look at it that they're really trying to eearn that tip...and reward them.

As somebody's already said on here, they depend more on that tip than their hourly wage, so, if I see somebody hustling, I want to reward their effort.

          "HEaHH, Dese is yo fud!"

          "WAT? U WANT SOMETING?"

Yet my ****** ass still leaves them a tip...

I just tip, I dont do no math. I just eyeball it sort of speak

Say I go out eat its 35 bucks or so, I leave like a 8 buck tip.

I do have a system for when I order pizza, I tip 5 dollars every time atleast no matter what I order even if its a 15 dollar order, or say my change is greater then 5bucks they can keep it. gots to keep that dude happy man he is alone with my pizza for too long!

I am always worried people are gonna do something to my food so I never not tip, I can be hungry as hell and I wont order a pizza if I dont have enough for the tip.

if the waiter/waitress refills my drink without me asking them to I give them 20% and if she's cute and my wife is not there I'll give her 20% plus a $20 on top of that

                      the norm i guess.
                      10% if it's a small meal and a party of 2.
                      15% for 4 or more.

i hate it when they ask you if everything's ok, i just need them to walk by every now and then so i can call them if i need anything.
i hate it also when you have to call your own server to get you something.
