[HOLY S**T!] Getting my MacBook Air in a couple of weeks!!!

I can't wait, it's gonna set me back around ?500. I'm getting the 13" and doubling up the processor - Intel core 2 Duo 2.13ghz, doubling the RAM to 4gb and buying a MacBook Air SuperDrive.

Does anybody have any experience with these, I know iBreakbeat will have some info for me.

WOW.......I'm jelous........I've only played around with them in the store. It should be a great traveling companion.

They are very fast from wake up and have a 30 day standby.

Yeah somebody told me they are rediculously fast. And the new flash drive, no more hard disc, so no whirring noise or overheating.

This is my 1st Apple product other than my 3GS so it's gonna take some getting used to the touchpad. I have worked plenty of overtime for this

Once you go Mac, you don't go back.

They are fast and responsive, if you're not going to be doing heavy duty work on them, then they are ideal. The glass multi-touch pad is a dream to use, once you start using one you will wonder why you didn't do this sooner.

im currently using the 15 inch macbook pro, last years model and i love my mac. my so called fiance right now has the regular 13 inch macbook pro and damn she is loving it. that thing weighs nothing, like i think her tampon weighs more in her purse. the only down side of the macbook air is that well, you need to buy a external hard drive and cd drive down the line.

My external hard drive / storage device is gonna be my current laptop which is in perfect condition, and I'm buying the specially built SuperDrive but the only disc I ever use is FM 2011 movies and music, I download.
