Does anybody have any experience with these, I know iBreakbeat will have some info for me.
its an awesome machine and the 128gb ssd performs wicked fast...
mine was one of the first to arrive here in holland back in october...that being said apple screwed us MBA buyers over by delaying the thunderbolt technology and not giving us a backlit keyboard. the machine also doesnt have firewire so ure stuck using USB 2.0 which is outdated right now
the worst thing however is shipping these MBA models with their leftover bulk of core2duo processors. this really sucks because initially panda though the cpu would perform fine but its constantly maxing out during heavier tasks and the otherwise quiet operation becomes a hot and noisy cooling process.
if panda was to buy a new macbook now it would be the new macbook proLast edited by -PANDA-; 03-05-2011, 12:10 PM.

This is my 1st Apple product other than my 3GS so it's gonna take some getting used to the touchpad. I have worked plenty of overtime for this

Macbook Pro>Macbook Air.
The new ones are supposed to be crazy fast, plus they have the new Thunderbolt port which is supposed to transfer files at 10gbps.
if u want a faster system u'll have to update ur mbp with an SSD which is crazy expensive and not an easy process by any means if ure looking to do it urself
that being said thunderbolt is amazingly fast and the mbp has about a dozen more hardware features one can benefit from

You can use Firefox, I have switched to using Safari since there are now extensions.

but for a laptop with a flash drive as big as this one its competitively priced when compared to other brands with similar specs. the flash drive is much more a significant factor in loading times and reading and writing speed compared to the processor
