The goalposts are always going to move when you have a novel virus and a large number of unknowns.

The vaccines are significantly less effective at reducing infection and transmission with the mutated strains. They are still holding up well against death which is incredible really.

How many times man? Passive surveillence systems can't be used to give you a 'count' of vaccine side effects in the way folk are tyrying to do. It just doesn't work like that.

Just because a death is recorded on VAERS (or any other passive sytem) it does not mean it was caused by vaccination. If you could wrap your head round that you'd see it doesn't really make much difference whether it's undercounted by 5x or 50x.... every day something like 8000 American die, the likelihood is that well over half have been vaccinated (since th elderly are far more likely to die), a good number of those will have had either a vaccine or booster sometime within the last few months, take out those that died from trauma or some other external cause and you're left with what? Coupla thousand people every single day who die 'after taking the COVID vaccine'.

You gonna try to claim that everyone who dies after taking the vaccine is a 'vaccine casualty' or conversely that nobody who didn't get vaccinated ever got ill or died over the last 12 or 13 months?

The trick is trying to establish how many died because of the vaccine, which is vastly more complicated. Suffice to say that when you got pcountries halting their vaccine rollouts or switching to other vaccines due to 1/10000 cases of overwhelmingly mild and temporary myocardias that tells you that surveillance systems are effective... not perfect, but able to pick up even relatively rare side effects. The idea that somehow the public health systems of dozens of advannced nations noticed these rare myocardias in kids but missed tens of thousands of vaccine deaths right under their noses is frankly absurd... like you can only rationalise it by some serious tinfoil rabbitholing.
