Shouldn't we be encouraging people to make healthy choices? If you truly honestly believe the vaccines are healthy and want people to take them to make the world a healthier place, why not let them in gyms but ban them from Mcdonalds?

Yes. Absolutely. As part of a rational National health strategy I would offer free or at least subsidised gym memberships to all as a priority, diet and exercise advice and encourage wellbeing and mental health practice (meditation, concoius breathing, yoga whatever) in damn schools from preschool onwards. I would also tax **** outta all hyperprocessed foods, transfats, refined sugars and high sodium foods - in fact the food industry is in many ways far more culpable for the expolosion in ill health in modern Western societies than the maligned Pharmaceuticals sector (although yeah, they done more than their share of crooked shat). I would say ban that scrap altogether but then you run into ethical problems with regards to personal choice and autonomy.

But these things should run alongside vaccination programs not be seen as a alternative to or a replacement for them irrespective of your personal beliefs about em.

Yeah they do. And that's generously assuming you're just talking about COVID vaccines here. Vaccination in principle has been proven beyond question over the course of centuries. Even if they just reduced serious illness and / or transmission by 10% they would be 'working' and they're far, far more effective than that,

Just because they ain't stopped COVID dead in it's tracks within a year doesn't mean they 'ain't working' it just means your expectations were unrealistic although granted premature media triumphalism and political posturing are partly to blame for that I guess.
