Exactly their own people sold them. Africans were already enslaving other Africans before the white man even got there to buy ******.
The African slave trade was ended in 1808. When slavery was ended in 1865, three were about 4 million ******. Do you know how many came from Africa total? About 380,000.
And no, they weren't all sold by Africans. Even if they were, it doesn't absolve the United States. If I sold you to Tom, and Tom enslaved and beat you, is Tom innocent? You guys with these dumb deflections.

There are parts of Africa that still allow slavery.
Is Tom innocent? If those were the practices of that time he is. What law did he break? And who finally made a law making it illegal to own a black man?
Go cry to *** and see how much money they send you. Maybe they will invite you over to the new houses that they just bought with the money brought in by ***. How much money did they give to the black communty?

However, if you spend 20 minutes or so and get the vital details of this case, you can form your own opinion as far as what crime, if any, Chauvin should have been convicted of.
Any charge that indicates pre-meditation, for example, would be off the table.

Chauvin's Restraint On Floyd's Neck Isn't Taught By Police, Use-Of-Force Trainer Says
Originally posted by Boxing-1013 View PostFloyd had an almost identical episode a year prior to his death, where he cried for his mom, said he couldn't breathe, resisted arrest, etc. The difference between that encounter and this one appears to be that he didn't OD on the drugs that he had on him, the first time. I think it is obvious that Floyd likely knew he was going to prison for a long time if he was arrested with drugs on him again. Without thinking, he decided to swallow his stash. It was a fatal decision sadly.
Go look at the experts who explained he showed no signs of a drug overdose while everything pointed to the murder that we saw with our own eyes.
Originally posted by Boxing-1013 View PostHe had enough fentanyl in his system to kill an elephant. He was tweaking out on drugs and needed to be restrained while an ambulance came for him. Could the cops have in hindsight shown more 'care' for him in the moment. Probably would have been smart considering the outcome.
But at that time he was a criminal who was tweaking out and had resisted arrest. You have to make some effort to detain that person.
Originally posted by Boxing-1013 View PostNow if you or anyone else can refute what I've laid out, feel free. If you want to get emotional and namecall and say Chauvin killed him, because you want to virtue signal about everything - you can do that too.
But virtue signaling and ignoring facts is for ******* and dummies, and I'm neither one of those.
You really didn't pay attention to anything said during the trial, did you? Furthermore, coming in here claiming that the outcome of this trial is a setback for America is asinine. You're really fvvcked in the head.

Read your statement again:
"You do realize that a good percentage of the ****** that were brought to America were sold, or traded away, by their own people?"
So what percentage are you talking about? What is "a good percentage"? 10%?
It was already established and admitted that Slavery in America was wrong, then and now. If your argument was that it was ok because it was legal back then, then you wouldn't be trying to place blame on Africans since what they did would have been legal as well.
What does *** have to do with this? If you want to know where their money goes, contact them and ask.

There were two neck restraints that were legal in Minneapolis. One was using your arms, and one was using your legs in the triangle (which was not taught). Neither was what Chauvin did. And his knee was clearly on Floyd's neck most of the time (90% of the time according to an expert who analyzed the video).
Chauvin's Restraint On Floyd's Neck Isn't Taught By Police, Use-Of-Force Trainer Says
That restraint from Chauvin wasn't illegal lol. Even in the article you cite, the man goes on to say that - "knee on the neck would be something that does happen in the use of force that is not unauthorized." - In plain English, that means that the knee on the neck move does happen when trying to restrain someone, and it is legal to do so. Please acknowledge that you are incorrect here. You were either trying to act like you know more than you do here, and were lying - or more possibly you thought you were correct and made a mistake. It happens but let's at least debate facts and go from there.
So what you are saying is that it happened before and he didn't die? Ok.
I'm showing that he has a pattern of this exact behavior. That he either 1) acts like this when getting arrested as some sort of ploy or 2) acts like this when getting arrested because of some medical/drug related issues that he is experiencing at the time. It is certainly reasonable to assume that he died the 2nd time because he ingested more drugs. The first time, they found drugs on him. The 2nd time, they didn't. It is reasonable to assume he swallowed his stash in full the 2nd time.
Go look at the experts who explained he showed no signs of a drug overdose while everything pointed to the murder that we saw with our own eyes.
Yet, as we keep bringing up, studies regarding DUI offenders with MUCH more fentanyl in their system exist. They were taken in alive.
Dr. Paul Christo of Johns Hopkins University says he uses fentanyl as a powerful anesthetic utilized during surgeries and to manage chronic pain. But he stresses it must be used carefully.
“It’s about 80 to 100 times more potent than morphine,” Christo said. “So, a little bit of that can lead to an inability to breathe and then death.”
-----
Defense attorney Eric Nelson told the jury the autopsy found “a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl.”
“This is what’s called a Speedball – a mixture of an opioid and a stimulant,” Nelson said. “The evidence will show that Mr. Floyd died of a cardiac arrhythmia that occurred a result of hypertension, his coronary disease, ingestion of methamphetamine and fentanyl, and the adrenaline flowing through his body.”
----
His blood was drawn immediately after death at Hennepin County Medical Center. The official autopsy report shows a concentration of 11 nanograms per milliliter.
“Deaths have been certified with levels of 3,” the notes indicate.
You really didn't pay attention to anything said during the trial, did you? Furthermore, coming in here claiming that the outcome of this trial is a setback for America is asinine. You're really fvvcked in the head.
From the bolded and underlined portions I wrote above, I think any honest objective person would say - 'OK there is a lot going on here, this isn't a simple case. It certainly seems very possible and reasonable that Floyd largely killed himself with drugs that he ingested and with his poor health issues'
All Chauvin needs is reasonable doubt in this case, and I think there is more than enough reasonable doubt there to make a guilty plea for anything close to murder or manslaughter a very poor decision.
And yes, as my original comment stated, this country is definitely in a downward spiral. This verdict and case and the whole coverage of it, another example of the downward spiral. We are at a point where virtue signaling means far more than facts and the like. It's insane and it will not lead to good outcomes going forward, across the board.Last edited by Boxing-1013; 04-21-2021, 12:59 AM.
