Arsenal are without doubt more successful than Chelsea.

Oh wait, we're going back to 1930 now? Oh great. Because before the First World War Arsenal were bankrupt and were relegated, and after football resumed once the war was concluded they were promoted to the First Division once again, not by merit but by greasing wheels. So Arsenal who finished fifth before the war were promoted over several more fitting sides for dubious reasons and only won their first FA Cup as a consequence of that.

By the way Manchester City who apparently have no history first won the FA Cup in 1904.
