They'd be renting Wenger for 3 years, maybe 2.

Wenger should be able to organize them to at least compete for the CL. It would be the best team he's ever had since 2003/4, maybe better all-around. Can't tell me he couldn't make the semi's with Lewandowski, if he could meet Barca with Persie and that Russian.

The problem I could think of would be breaking away from Wenger's idealism.

That'd probably set Bayern back, like it did with Guardiola. Because that "free flowing" s/hit is a hell of a drug.

I doubt as badly though, because Guardiola even ****ed up the national team with his "philosophy". Because they had no clue how to play direct anymore. Wenger at least tries to play vertical.

I think tiki taka died with the break up of Xavi and inieista.

Chelsea’s Sarri nonsense was a pale nod to
      It.

City don’t really do that now. They tried a version of it in Pep’s first season and they were a bit crap. Remember that whole full backs taking up central midfield positions.
It was indulgent nonsense. Fenomeno when he as here would say it was because the full back weren’t great. They weren’t but he played them as
      Midfielders ffs.

City are direct now really. Sterling and Kdb will look to be direct as will all their full backs. Silva is a schemer and Gundagun but without Kdb and Sterling i’d be looking for Chelsea to beat them if we had a good day. You could get them playing in front of you.

Conte blame the board after Inter loss 3-2 to Dortmund after leading 0-2 at half-time. Typical

I was really disappointed in Conte in the end. He just got disinterested fast. When he was up for it he still won us the FA cup.

That City performance where we lost 1 nil was the worst in my lifetime and realise they smashed us 6 the next season.

Set Chelsea up like Andorra. We deserved less than zero points. Fabregas running back in straight lines and ignoring the ball is what i’d do playing 5 aside when I’m tired after about an hours play

          It’s beyond amateur. So embarrassing

It doesn't seem like he blamed anyone to me.

Looks like he just set up a safeguard against people getting over excited and believing Inter are something they are not.

Like at Chelsea where he took the most mediocre players and won the PL with them then the board goes "Nah, we won't buy anyone. These guys are good enough to win it again."

Also the City game wasn't that bad. We've done the same in the Champions League in 2012 against Napoli, Barcelona, and Bayern. Did the same in Jose's first 3 seasons at Chelsea.

Bus parked, countered, won game. Except Conte didn't have Lampard, Robben, Drogba etc. He had Bakayoko, Cesc, and Alvaro Morata.

Not that bad to me. Compared to getting thrashed 6-0 to City and 4-0 to Bourne-****ing-mouth. Sarri would've been fired before he left the pitch, if Roman was in his 2010 mood.

Chelsea weren’t even set up to counter.

The moment you don’t even pressure the ball in your own half your not going to do anything. He should just have played 10 defenders and strung them over the 18 yard line.

2012 team was different because Drogba. You could give him a whole half to himself and he’ll occupy 4 defenders. Force of nature. Chelsea sh.ithoused that CL but it was due. We should have won 2 by that point. So it was football God’s work.

But City - It was so weak.

The 6 nil was embarrassing but at least Chelsea went toe to toe. They were good for 10 mins, lol. In Conte’s effort they just compromised themselves entirely as footballers. You can’t do that.

              It was awful.

Games like that make me want a goal bonus for 2 goals. Because setting up like that was AIDS.

Italian football is more entertaining off the pitch. Cont?blaming others, Ancelottis and the drama with his players at Napoli, Did Sarri anger Ronaldo by subbing him, the racist fans and oblivious owners.

I'm not gonna lie, that game was horrendous to watch but I 100% felt worse watching 4-0 to Bournemouth and 6-0 City.

I still can’t believe the axe didn’t fall on Sarri.

Emerged with rep nicely intact in the end despite nobody liking him
