For someone that wants to be ripped or skinny, obviously this doesn't apply. I don't remember his saying he wants to be ripped in his post, so I didn't talk about what kind of diet he should have to achieve that.
yeah different guys have different body shapes like i know bantamweights who are 5"8 and i know a guy who is like 5''6 weighing like 70 kg.......but i will try that thing thanks for that

Yeah it doesn't really work for boxers. If you go by that thing, almost every single boxer is unhealthy. I am about 175 cm tall, and only weigh 68 kg. I feel fine for my weight.

I think that weight measure is for males that are somewhat active, but not nearly as active or competitive as boxers. Boxers constantly need to make weight, and a lot do not compete in their completely "natural" weights, which, for me, would be somewhere around 70-71 kgs.

this calculation is not good for determining a ´healthy´person, and definitively not for boxers! this calculation would put me 14 kgs underweight now or 16 kgs underweight at fighting weight (same for Kelly Pavlik)

There's always going to be different opinions on the topic. I was just saying something I heard from some of my pals in Russia.

Here is evidence of this on the internet. Although it is not the same exact calculation as I stated, the weight that you end up with is fairly close to how it is with the height - 100 = weight in kgs calculation.

It also depends on how you define 'healthy'.

I'm 5'8 and used to be 150lbs now I'm 142 and feel good, for a fight I would go under 140. To lose 5lbs for you shouldn't be too hard, see how you feel at 145, and keep in mind that whatever weight you're at your trainer'll probably ask you to drop down a weight class for a fight anyway.
