The amount of boxing fans that think this type of sh.t is astonishing to me. Why do you even watch if this is what you get from fights?

How much did Kovalev get on the side to go soft

Now, seriously, i think he must have gotten +10 mill at least under the table.
Which is probably twice less as Gennady.
And the funny thing is Canelo overdid the fix: it wasn't supposed to end in a KO, because this is going to raise a lot of eyebrows even among not boxing casuals.

The ko is legit but the fight is fixed...
Canelo tried everything to hurt and ko kov while kov tried his best not to hurt canelo. This is the real story of the fight.

very strange. more su****ious than the ko itself. kovalev isn't known in his entire career of fighting for throwing soft punches let alone soft punches for an entire fight. even in his last fight against yarde kovalev put a lot more into his jabs.

I seriously hate boxing fans.
Kovalev’s instructions was to use his jab and box, by McGirt. An ill-advised gameplan. Trying to follow GGG’s gameplan of jabbing his way through 12 rounds. Kovalev was also scared of counters because Canelo clearly was swinging for the fences. He was trying to score with power punches, and Kovalev was trying to win on points with jabs and staying away from Canelo’s hard shots. He didn’t take risks.
Also, I hate you all. You ain’t sh/t. F/ck boxing fans. F/cking drama queens.

Hes got an assault trial that starts on 25 November, so this farce was rushed.
Kov cashed out and intentionally threw no hard shots. His base purse was only $3 million but plus incentives. They were saying he was expected to get closer to $12 million when all said and done. How do you have such a huge variance when its not a PPV fight? no details on how the incentives calculated..... paid off to throw the fight.
A nine million dollar bonusat that....for 9 million I would have windmilled by azz off trying to ko Canelo
Kov didn’t seem motivated enough for me to believe that.Last edited by Don Pichardo; 11-03-2019, 01:25 PM.
