When I practiced MMA it was fun to talk about MMA, kickboxing and boxing with the fellow trainers or coaches. But now I mostly talk online...
Nice, i did a little training at a local boxing club and i did enjoy talking fights with the coaches. I'm going to rejoin a club very soon, primarily just to be more involved in the sport and to change my training routine a little.

      Jus sayin
This right here is the truth. I have a lot of boxing friends since I started going to local shows. Have to get out of the house and put yourself where boxing fans congregate.

Another thing. Check your state athletic commission webpage to see the schedule of upcoming fights in your state.

Upcoming fight in Fargo, ND. The promoter is Virgil Hill

I'll never be friends with someone who doesn't watch or like boxing. I have only a couple of friends, but they're worth ten.

You'll have fun. These guys are out there fighting their ass off for that lil bit of pocket change. And the atmosphere is great. And the women always come out. I don't know what it is about boxing and women but every show i've been to have had a lot of ***y women there

I have only 1 hardcore boxing friend and believe it or not he's a pro boxer.........David Brophy SMW Commonwealth Champ, due to fight Rocky Fielding for the British & Commonwealth titles on 30th Sept on a matchroom show. I have 1 or 2 other mates that come and watch shows with me and come over for fights on t.v but they are casuals. Sometimes they pretend they know they're **** but are quickly found out lol! Most of my good mates prefer UFC or are hardcore football fans

Yea I should have checked the schedule sooner. Ive been to a local show before a few towns over to see my buddies amateur debut. had ringside seats, byob, was a blast. They would have a show once in a while in my town at the baker ballroom but i missed them. cool old school spot, actually the final scene of the movie The Wrestler with micky rourke was filmed there. I missed that too lol.
