Most people dont know **** about boxing, have ever laced up a pair of gloves or even sparred a few rounds but want to call the most important part of the sport running.

Boxing isnt rock em sock em robots...if you dont have good footwork you wont be a good fighter regardless of style or temperment.

real trainers train from the feet up, thats how Merhav Mohar taught me and thats how I will begin with my stable
Went to a salsa club years ago, and saw lil guys, moving and controlling distances with partners. It was ****ing amazing. I posted about it last year... But the essence is, before you ever start throwing any punches, learn spatial orentiation, via dancing.. Then add punches into the mix... Slowly.

It is cowardly, there is no other way to put it.

HOWEVER, you can box while going forward. You can be smart when attacking. You can keep your ground by fighting in the center of the ring. But calling running backwards "boxing" is a disguise for being scared and a coward.
        lol....................

I just dont like how people dont hold dudes accountable for not fighting out of clinches, cutting off ring, or adjusting

And look its a reason Why Cotto lost to Marg. and Shane didnt
If Cotto had used clinches maybe he wudnt have got walked down
If Margacheato hadn't fought with loaded wraps, he wouldn't have hurt Cotto the way that he did. The Mosely fight is where he got caught & was made to re-wrap.

Footwork is fine to me as long as the person is Fighting! people who run around the ring and jab here and there piss me off. Thats not boxing. throw some combos for crying out loud and yes ive been in the ring and have boxed...

I know that....But u forgetting that shane would land shots and tie Marg. up to stop him from gaining momentum

The point is that idiots say he running doe whether its effective or not...depending on if they like the fighter....that's lame as hell

May runner....Roy Jones....Ali were all labeled so called runners yet landed 50% of their shots

Would be strange to call Roy a runner. I'm not sure if I've really seen that.
