I don't think it is compatible to that era, where you had 4 fighters who fought each other and they were all elite. I think there are a few ATG's in this era but not 4 like that in and around the same weight. Mayweather and Pacquiao are ATG's in my opinion, and Marquez is maybe also but probably as a 126/130lb fighter, he went up and won titles in other weights but it was a struggle for him in general above that.

    Wladimir Klitschko is an ATG.

    Bernard Hopkins is an ATG

    Miguel Cotto - HOF

Andre Ward - HOF (possible ATG)

    Tim Bradley - HOF

    Car Froch - HOF

    Sergio Martinez - HOF

I would say this is the last 5 years or so, since 2010 these guys are the major players and some of them go back maybe 2 or 3 eras.

I would say when you compare it to Leonard / Hagler / Duran & Hearns Itd be

            Mayweather
            Pac
            Cotto
            Mosley

They all fought each other , won belts in multiple divisions , Kings of the PPVs and 3 of the 4 have wins over Oscar

Obviously Marquez , Hopkins & Klit are among their generations best but when you compare it to the 80's 4 kings I think those fighters fit the bill the best.

              - Agreed good post, I would add RJJ to the Bhop/Shane/Trinidad/Oscar group.

They were all great fighters but they weren't kings except for when they held their world titles. Duran wasn't king when Benitez easily beat him. Hearns wasn't king when Barkley knocked him out and then beat him again later. Leonard wasn't king when Norris pitched him a shutout and Camacho stopped him in 4 rounds. You want 4 kings from today? How about Mayweather, Pacquiao, GGG and Ward. But then you left out Wlad and Vitali and Kovalev. You also left out Crawford, Cotto, Canelo, Gonzalez, Rigo and Loma. There are too many good fighters to crown 4 of them as kings just as it was silly to crown Hearns, Duran, Leonard and Hagler as kings back then. Great fighters, yes. Kings, no, not to me anyway.

Cotto ? Wtf ! We gonna add Canelo if he beats him, no thanks.

Wlad is clearly no.3 if not even second IMO. Pacquiao gets in only because so many blow hards were desperate to see Floyd lose so they attributed themselves to him. In his prime though he was nearly top draw and I can live with him being second or third, third for me based on his inept display versus Floyd.

Ward also for me deserves a mention but he needs a really defining win, I never rated Froch that highly, if Ward could beat GGG or Kovalev I'd be more than happy for his inclusion, that said if Kovalev defeated him I think he'd be a deserving no3 or 4 that's how highly I rate Ward, not saying I like the guy as I'm neither a big fan of Pac or Floyd either but you give credit where it due as opposed to being a blow hard.

                    Correct.

I'm surprised you got it right, my simple-minded friend.

What era we talking about? I mean the last 10-15 years?

Marquez, Pacquiao, Mayweather and Cotto were the undeniable stars of the sport, If we added a fifth, then clearly Wlad. However the aforementioned three all have binding stories. Wlad is a big man in the big man division filled the last 10 years with figurative little men.

Moving forward we have...Canelo and the next three are up for grabs.
