I love watching some GGG, but i think Team GGG only intended to fight Ward if he grew into superstardom...which never happened.

You would sign your fighter up for a fight that takes place 1year/18months from now for 50/50 split when your fighter will be worth more money in 1 year/18 months and the opponent will be coming off of 2 lower profile tune ups?
        That is bat **** crazy.
There is no promotional company in operation today who would sign that "deal" lol

andre ward is NOT the best p4p fighter in the world and thats the end of it for now until hes fought consistent world class opposition.
he shaded mikkel kessler easily beat carl froch. ive said this before for fack sake! george groves was outboxing froch in the 1st row not many fights between the ward bout and he just got beaten by a relatively unknown badou jack. yeah......p4p! americans.......i dunno.:bukkake::bukkake::bukkake:

That said, he has managed to bring the term "unify" back to prominence for the first time since the 90s, the early 00s at the latest. I mean honestly, the last time I can remember people giving a rat's ass about unification was DK's middleweight tourney. And that was basically a gimmick to set up a "superfight" waste of time between Roy Jones and Tito. And after Hopkins did his thing, it basically became an afterthought. I mean, to my knowledge, Hopkins-DLH was the first, and maybe only fight for all four ABC belts and that's nothing more than a pretty much forgotten footnote in history. Unification was a theme for Tsyzu-Judah. And a lil for Mayorga-Spinks. But all that unification stuff was pretty much dead by the mid-00s.

I say all that to say GGG's have latched onto this unification crap and act like its relevant in today's boxing. The ABC organizations are a joke. Which is further validated by what tool place in Cincinnati this past weekend. If I cared enough. I'm sure I could find some of these "unification" idiots bashing this past weekend's events. The fact is, this unification crap only became the primary fovus when Ward came calling. Its a lame excuse that is just one of many at tjis point

In the past, unification was a big deal because in thr 80s and 90s, great fighters held belts simultaneously and superfights were often the result. GGG-Lemieux isn't a superfight. GGG-Lee isn't a superfight. Hell, the circumstances that allowed Lemieux to even win a belt are borderline criminal. So the notion that GGG is doing something historic, or even relevant, is a complete joke. And anyone who tries to pass it off as something historic or great is an even bigger joke.

Understand it, cornball. Ward isn't fighting GGG or Kovalev until after he fights his tune ups.
Mid to late 2016, maybe...if he stays healthy and doesn't decide to sue RocNation lol
Martin Murray moves up and fights 3 tune ups in 4 months.
Ward needs 18 months to fight 3 tune ups lol.
So I'll take that as you're not gonna answer my question.

Ward is NOT a Super Middle he is a Light Heavy . . . If Fraud Mayweather refused to fight GGG with 4lb advantage . . Then why would a 160lb Champion go in with a guy 174lbs . . . Let the Silly Son of God fight Kovalev if he has the stones

lol what difference does it make if it's 36 minutes 36 days or 36 seconds? They weren't going to agree to fight Ward when they were finalizing a deal with Lemieux and are in line for the WBC belt after that.
