They're closer in weight, neither guy has anything going, and most importantly, its perceived as the much more competitive fight, which boxing fans like
i have no issue with that, I've always been happy with fans looking out for the best fights, its when ppl start talking about why fights SHOULDN'T happen that gives me a headache, especially in this scenario, its a good fight, they're both in their prime, and they'd be each others hardest test if they both fought. downplaying it bc of the popularity narrative is why ppl took a rightful s*it on floyd, so expect it as well from fans using the same narrative in ggg favor. i want ggg to unify and beat everyone at 160, i want ward to move up to 175 and see if he can beat kovalev and some other top 175 fighters and then maybe GGG and ward can fight then or maybe sooner than that if its possible.

Without the S6 it would be Miranda, Bika, Dawson(at 168 lol) E-Rod.
Maybe a rematch with Shelby Pudwill lol

Go ahead and say Miranda n Bika are better than anyone on GGG's resume, "MUH RESEME DOE!" blah blah blah.

Look at Bute's fights with Miranda and Bika then watch Andre Ward's fights vs Miranda and Bika.
It's clear why Ward wanted no part of Bute, despite saying that he would fight Bute and clean out the division.
      Lucian ****ing Bute lol
"MUH 2 or 3 YEARS AGO!" lol
If, if, if, if, if, if, if, if. I don't care how thw names got there, they got there. Andre Ward is younger than GGG. They've been pro basically the same amount of time. Amd we're still waiting on GGG to fight somebody with a pulse. So anwser the question. When's ya boy gonna fight some good opponents?

Golovkin hasn't even beat a Bika-level opponent.
They approached Froch when Chavez backed out last summer, when Froch wasn't retired. In fact he was easily the #1 active SMW, and p4p ranked everywhere, unlike when he fought Ward.

Going up in weight to face a p4per like that on his home turf in the UK is way better than anything Ward has done. Hell Ward just fought a tune-up at 172, and yet Yunieski Gonzalez is a step too far lol.

Bika is no better than many Ggg opponents.

Sounds good to me. But you know full well Ward is hard to negotiate with, and that 50/50 offer for next year is far out, and not a good start

i think if team ggg just stopped with all the bs pr campaigns and just admitted the reason they dont want to fight ward is because hes to big/to good the second reason being the most important. the money would of been right we all know that everything else is just bs its plan and simple

                litte g AKA 36 minutes

the biggest coward is the history of boxing. there has never been a coward on this level.

clown paul smith all you want.. but all i see on little g resume is paul smith on top of paul smith.

all we want is for the chump to prove his hype by fighting the best.. rubios leftover doesn't prove a damn thing and asking him to climb ONE division isn't too much to ask for, if hes that good anyway

ward will collide with kovalev next year, win or lose that proves ward is out to prove himself while little g continues to put tomato cans on his belt.

i think thats why he went in roc nations path, hell top rank and GBP couldn't get cotto vs canelo done but roc nation was able to. and cotto looks like to be getting the more of the pie unlike the situation before roc nation. question is can roc nation make ward look attractive in term of $$, bc a win of kovalev in late 2016 would definitely do it especially considering it would be a great fight in the stub hub with canadian ppv and international broadcast to box nation.
