Avoiding styles is only a postponement for failure in the long run because you will have to get in with a stick and move type of guy again eventually. You won't be able to spend your entire career fighting flat footed sluggers and expect people to consider you "GREAT". A truly great fighter can find a way to defeat ALL STYLES not just flat footed face first Brawlers like Angulo and Kirkland

If you picking fighters based their styles then fighting GGG shouldn't take 2 years right? He has style the fans want, so if he beats Cotto then lets see what will be the excuse.

Yeah because Canelo hasn't fought Trout, Mayweather, and Lara. Now he has to fight slick fighters in all his fights? Canelo is chasing the money fight right now. Who is calling Canelo "Great", at least he's one of the few young fighters that is actually willing to fight the best. He didn't have to give Lara a fight, he really didn't. It's not like Canelo had a belt and Lara was his mandatory. Some of the fights at 154 can't even get made due to politics anyway.
