    Nah, he was coming on late but he was gonna keep getting clocked on the bad eye before he could stop cotto.

        Not sure if he was gonna stop him, but the fight was getting very dramatic at the time of the stoppage.. Margarito def had control...


        Kinda like salido-mikey garcia... It got stopped just when it got interesting

          I agree and Cotto was in the exact same position he was in the first bout. Margarito even made that cut throat gesture he felt the give in cotto that give taht you can only feel when you in a fight and feel the dude just prime to be taking out.

          Cotto was worried and caught a very lucky break.

          even if you dont think margarito would have won you cant deny that Cotto caught a very lucky break. Those last rounds all cotto had to do was survive and he would win but that damage he would have took (if he could would have withstand it) would have ruined his entire career.

              Why do people keep going back to that fight? The guy was suspended for a year for lack of enough evidence, but enough to want to make the commission suspend him granted that was for different fight but the consensus back then was that the guy got caught cheating. He deserves no more attention he is a disgrace to boxing.
