The older interviews I think had more to do with Floyd getting defensive or not knowing how to answer the question.IMO
I think he has just gotten better at handling the questions, not feeding in to negativity, and remaining relaxed.
I remember one reporter asking Pac a hard question, and his answer made no ***in sense. Maybe that's why he doesn't get hard questions, nobody's going to understand what the *** he said. Got to tell these reporters to bring a translator.

I agree he used to hide behind the language thing but at this point it's clear he knows English very well. When he was saying in interviews "I didn't take marquez seriously" in the 3rd fight a simple "well why the fook not!!! He took you to hell and back twice" would be the obvious question to ask but ... No it's just "ok manny" lol

Mayweather is very technically proficient. Probably the most technically proficient fighter I've seen . And one of the best defensive fighter I've seen of all time. Better than willie pep- this guy would occasionally throw punches and leave his feet behind. Lochhe would get hit by short left hooks. He was using the shoulder roll 40 years ago. Ali had amazing reflexes. I say Whitaker and Floyd stand alone.

But those 2 things can work against him in this fight. Floyd sometimes gets caught up in his own defense. Focused so much on not getting hit. That's why oscars jab worked well. It occupied Floyd and disrupts his rhtymn . Vs maidana he was on the ropes and wasn't countering. He let chino shoot his bother then came back with shots.

And he's so technically sound that you kind of know where the punches are gonna come from and there's not gonna be a combination of them because he doesn't wanna leave himself open. For whatever reason, Floyd doesn't stay low and punch up with the right hand and he won't this fight because Mannys the shorter guy. Manny got rocked by Bradley and KO'ed by Marquez by that sort of punch. A punch he didn't see coming.

interviwer: floyd i guess just like everyone else, we all want to know if u will ever fight manny pacquaio? what will it take for u to say u know what i want to fight him?

floyd jr.: u know what, u know what, i feel like americans doesnt stand by their guy. u know u have these other guys that come from another country to make money off this country and bring it back over there and these guys have the backing of his whole country. i mean i just want an even playing field, i mean this guy came out of nowhere and nobody is questioning his rise to success? i mean look at me, it took me years, it took me years to get to where im at, and that takes hard work and dedication and an amazing team.

i think he's looking skinnier than before but i dont think he's drained. he does look tired though. but i like this look more, speed and explosiveness. we know pac is not gonna knock floyd out (slim chance) so theres no need to bulk up and slow down.

yup.. i prefer this also. i just hope it doesnt make him more prone to getting dropped since he's a lot smaller now?
