So again, if Pacquaio beats Algieri, who is he going to fight next over at Top Rank? It isn't going to be Marquez. Like I said, I would NOT be surprised if it's someone like Jesse Vargas. Had he become a Free Agent like Miguel Cotto, Pacquaio could literally pick and choose who he fights. He would have more options than Mayweather, instead of much less options. He could bounce between Top Rank and Golden Boy like Cotto has the freedom to. Cotto can fight Mayweather, GGG, Canelo, or even Pacquaio next if he chooses (although because of Roach, Pacquaio fight won't happen). Whereas, Mayweather won't work with Top Rank, so he's limited to one stable. But at least the stable he's limited to has many stars.

who is marquez? How many ppv fights has he had without pac or floyd. He should have taken the rematch right away after the fourth fight and gotten twice what they're offering now. Instead he fights bradley and gets taken to school. Pac gave marquez four opportunities and made him rich but when it was pacs turn to ask a favor he was denied. Marquez can still make four times his usual purse with a pac rematch but he wants to keep that feeling. Soon he will retire and in a few years will wish he still had that opportunity for one last big payday.

Marquez is the guy that had 1 draw and 1 KO in four fights with Pacquiao. I do understand that Manny is the A side, which is why I wouldn't say Manny is ducking Marquez by asking for testing and not giving Marquez 50/50. Now when you flip it, and Floyd is the A side, and he asks for testing and refuses to give Manny 50/50, stop calling Floyd a duck. Where did you read that Thurman is Mayweather's mandatory?

There's a post fight interview from this weekend where Thurman said he's Floyd's WBA mandatory, and Khan is Floyd's WBC mandatory. I don't know who Manny's WBO mandatory, but I believe it's Abregu. Instead of Abregu @ 147, Manny chose Algeri, who is the WBO Jr. WW, at a CW of 144.
