...in other words "I can't beat him".
Whatever - Froch has been a warrior, just not the best at 168. If he wants to chase the bigger paydays, I'm cool with that. He's earned it.
If he were a "warrior" he'd wanna avenge his loss. He had no problem avenging Groves. He had no problem avenging Kessler. Why not avenge Ward? I'll tell you why. Cause he's a punk ass b1tch with a punk ass fanbase that will buy and justify every b1tch move he makes

Froch has had a great run of facing the best available guy. Maybe more people would have a problem with him changing that for the next fight if not the fact that nobody would expect a Froch win and the whole thing would just feel predictable and a waste of time. Plus Froch says he lost the first fight fair and square so there's not even a BS excuse for anyone to latch onto to try talk-up his chances in a rematch.
you can't be mad at a fighter for trying to get as much money as he or she can before it's over. there is no boxing pension, 401k or any type of retirement benefits.
I agree. I'll never blame a fighter if he makes a choice that will get him more money.
A lot of these posters are hypocrites though. They'll defend Froch for this while at the same time they criticized Stevenson and Sergio and others for doing the exact same thing. Remember how they claimed to be REAL boxing fans not "businessmen and accountants?"
Froch has been fighting at the top of 168 in some very tough fights for awhile now, and the guy is 36. He is looking at the bottom line financially, and I don't blame him one bit.
I'm a Ward "guy", but his inactivity, much of it self inflicted, is wearing thin and the fact is a fight in Vegas with Jr. is probably the biggest cash earner for Froch over here stateside.
Wish Ward would go across the pond to prove that he could whip Froch again regardless of venue and shut up a lot of naysayers, but as the saying goes, Shit in one hand, wish in the other. See which one fills up first.
Facts: Ward is a outstanding boring fighter with no personality and is not a star. Chavez Jr is a ordinary run of the mill fighter but is a star and will attract fans. Froch is a star and he will fight a star (Chavez Jr). Ward is not a star and is on the outside looking in.

Son of God is not worth it....
Why waste money on training camp, paying fighter, etc when you know you will never ever in your life beat him.
Add to that, Son of God is Not, I repeat NOT a draw and at this point in the Cobra career, it about the dollars.
Is the Cobra HOF bound right now - yes

In boxing right now, would you rather be the Cobra - yes

Only in your ****** ass, funny talking ass universe will Froch be #1 over the guy that handled him with ease with one arm. Froch is a f.uckin' joke and so are his b1tch ass d1ck wigglers like yourself b1tch
Bro you need to calm down or you're gonna end up back in the pen.
Ill buy both PPV but it would be a dumb idea to go against eachother. Both would lose
Funny thing is, should he win his next fight, I'm sure Canelo Alvarez would want to fight the winner of Cotto/Martinez on that September Mexican holiday weekend and I don't think he cares about going head to head with Floyd. That said, I doubt the much older battle worn Cotto or Martinez would be ready by September, especially if their fight turns out to be a war.
