Froch is turning into an arrogant arsehole.

Khan certainly hasn't fought tougher opponents than Froch, but his journey at 140 hasn't been easy.

I suppose all the racist Khan haters will pile on top of him after this retort, because they're ****** and don't know **** about about boxing. He's 25 for christ sake and coming off a bitter KO loss, and Froch is kicking him while he's down. Of course he's going to make silly comments when he's upset and cornered.

At least he's never been outclassed as a boxer unlike Froch who was schooled by Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, and Ward. If Froch didn't have a chin and home town judges he would be domestic level at best.

I'm British, and ashamed of Amir Khan. Haye and Froch are the torchbearers for us right now.
Ashamed of an Olympic silver medallist, and world boxing champion?

Oh you're that guy who cured AIDS and invented the wheel. That explains it...

Definite signs that he is punch drunk and its time to retire.

          He's not popular at all.

He's more popular now then he was a few years ago though when literally no one know who he was.

People getting on Froch's back need to actually listen to the interview he gave. I listened to it live on the radio and what he actually said was that - If HE got KO'ed and hurt repeatedly, and if HE had bad punch resistance then HE would retire because HE isnt in the fight game to get KO'ed, beat up and hurt. He didnt once say "I think Khan should retire", he simply put himself in Khan's shoes.

Spot-on, he was needlessly negative about Khan, he should have shown some support to a young British boxer who had just been knocked out.

totally agreed...people will always hate..i'm sure other people were waiting for this to happen as well to kick him when he is down.
As for the post, i dont think Froch has a louder rep. I never did like Froch's style as well, nor do i also like Amirs lol. Only think i like is his speed

He is popular, but not a star. Definitely up North hes pretty big though. The boxing community goes crazy when Froch is fighting, in the northern parts of the UK. The Bute win has definitely propelled him though. I think theres a lot of debate on the Calzaghe/Froch question. But theres definitely a lot of respect for the both. BBC Sport has Froch ranked no.1 British fighter right now, though obviously with Hayes triumphant return, its a bit blurry.

Lol @ at the other poster. Sure he is a former world champion and silver medalist, but that doesn't make up for the fact he spouted out that he was the best that Britain has to offer, and yet gets stopped like that. Maybe if hes more quiet in the future, the British crowd may come to respect him a bit more. A bit like Haye after his loss to Wlad, though Haye was nowhere near hurt in that fight.

Btw, just because some people don't like Khan, doesn't mean to say we are racist. Its such a weak thing to say. I couldn't care less about what race he is. Take your weak arguments elsewhere, please

Froch is clearly our main guy but he still has trouble getting his fights on TV which is baffling to me. He seems jealous of Khan's fame just like when he was jealous of Calzaghe earlier on in his career.
