LOL on this PR vs Mexico thing. I ain't PR or Mex but I rather be on the side of the Mexicans because they have the most champions (currently) and PR has only what, one? LOL! I ain't a fan of margarito but I don't think he cheated against cotto. That's just a bunch of wah wah's from the ricans

no he said he wants to fight Chavez if he wins for his title to be the only boricua to win titles in diffrent weight classes. he also said he will be at ringside, he also said he would fight the winner of the 2 Zbik or Chavez. Now he is pulling this sht sayin that he will not say anything about fighting Margarito until he gets a legit offer, cmon Cotto

You guys do realize that Cotto and Margarito had agreed to fight in July right??? The only reason that fight didn't take place was because of Margaritos eye condition.

Talegon, The only reason Chavez was actually in discussion was precisely because that Margarito couldn't fight Cotto as originally schedule. After that Cotto cleary said that he didn't have no preference in fighting either Margarito or Chavez. The fact is that a certain point, Chavez was the only option because Magarito was not even sure if he would fight again, not because he didn't want to, but because of his eye and lack of medical clearance. Because of this, practically the be$t offer remaining on the table for Cotto, was Chavez, on which he repeated, that he had no problem fighting him and was willing to do so, that the option of winning a 4th title was attractive and an extra motivation and that he would be at ringside as he has been on several other fights because he was invited by Arum to talk about details of a possible fight between the two.

As a matter of fact he has always said that if the offer is right, he'll fight anyone and he has proven to do so!!!!

The details to arrange this fight should be minor as Margarito will have to accept a Cotto's demand because as he is in the drivers seat right now.

Just want to see what these people, that say that Cotto is afraid/intimidate, will say when in a couple of days the fight gets confirmed. I guess they will make up other new excuses to hate on Cotto!!!!

Let them hate, they don't know any better. Cotto fought the best without plaster. According to them Cheato is a tough guy, but had to use plaster to fight grandpa Mosley. Margecheato's victories are all questionable. When was the last time he had a real win? I will answer for you, the last time he used plaster without getting caught. Margacheato is a disgrace to Mexico, a country that has produce so many great boxers. There is a difference between boxing fans and nut huggers. You know who you are.

Dont even bother with these clowns. Its quite clear that this fight will be made and Cotto is just waiting for Arum to bring him the contract and discuss the details. Cotto was ready to fight Margarito directly after the Mosley fight before team Margs ***ed that up so to think he is scared now is ridiculous.

lol i dont see wat the big deal is..this fight is bigger than the chavez fight n hes looking to cash out...it only seems mex prs dont get along here but in the real world they seem to get long fine..it is funny tho

I can see how people think Cotto is scared, because quite frankly it does seem that way. Sure, they "agreed" to fight but its the same situation it is now and fighting Chavez for whatever the reason is garbage because the Marg fight SHOULD be made. Cotto would whoop his ass so I'm not sure what the problem is, obviously its money. But if Margs is able to fight Cotto shouldn't pick Jr, I wouldn't even buy that fight or any really until he fights Margarito (except for Sergio.) The fact is Arum himself said Chavez isn't ready because he even knows Cotto would box his head off just like he would Margarito. Besides, Cotto is going to wind up getting at least 80% of the purse if he wants, Marg's won't be able to sell **** to flies after his wrap scandal and the beating he got from Manny.

Cotto Scared??? LOLOL, anyone who thinks that is either new to the game or just straight hating, Cotto is not saying no or he wont, its just that he cant say it will happen because its not sign period.

Arce and Salido are the bomb if you ask me. Sheer grit from those gentleman in their endeavors, they've earned every reward they've reaped from Puerto Rico. Tony is Mexico's lame duck. He's cut corners in his career and looked for quick fixes--now the past has finally caught up to him. Cotto, representing the anti thesis to this twisted puzzle looks to find a way to avenge himself with better prep and bonus experience. The Miguel of old wouldn't pace himself. That willfull ignorance is all but gone now.
Margarito being worse for wear comes out of this an undeniably miserable man. His trainer doesn't give 2 ****s for his safety, he has absolutely no plan for a much smarter opponent(the eye WILL be a factor believe me you), at 154 lbs & removed from a looong layoff who really knows what version shows up to fight Cotto. All these little things will play their part in Margaritos tragic downfall; I bet HBO Legendary Nights will eat this material up like it's Ali/Frazier lol.. but the hero wins this one no doubt. Bob has been setting these events in motion ever since Marg's suspension and his subsequent backing of the man. This is why I love boxing, epic rivalries like Pac/Mayweather, Haye/Klitschko coming to a head and now this. Here's to another great year fellas

Cotto is not being scared or anything, he's just wanting to see the terms. I'm pretty sure Margs will be asking for more if the fight is in NY or something. Who knows.
