People credit Duran for his wins, so its only fair to discredit him for his losses as well, and dont put those imaginary losses on Pac as well.
Duran had never been knocked out to the chin before he fought Hearns either.

Because Pac hasn't, doesn't mean he wouldn't. Pac has never fought anyone who punches as hard as Tommy Hearns and in his 7th weight class if Hearn's punched Pac on his chin like he did Duran in round 2 then yes he could easily be knocked out cold.

How is saying Tommy Hearns will knock someone out underrating them? Tommy Hearns could not out a lot of people believe it or not.

No, I don't think Pac would beat Ray Leonard at WW.

Not really, I don't discredit fighters for loss's really. Especially when they are past prime fighting one of the greatest fighters to ever come out of that particular weight class.

That has more to do with the fact how bad Maidanna actually is in comparison to an ATG like Morales. Regardless to the fact he is clearly shot to pieces.

    No, they didn't.

They 2nd time he was in decline and the third time he was shot.

That's all there is to it.

No one can really say a fighter is better than another until they fight. Pacquiao is better than Duran, Duran is better than Pacquiao, it's all talk because they'll never meet.

Totally agree. The way Wilbon of all people (the same guy Floyd haters point to as the "coward" bell ringer) dismissed Hopkins accomplishments was a disgrace.

Duran is overrated. Some list him as the best latino ever, which is not true. Julio Cesar Chavez is the best latino ever. And of course Pacquiao is ranked higher than Duran.

No one was talking about Duran being past his prime when he lost to Hearns. He was coming off wins over Moore and giving Marvin a run for his money, more so than Hearns did. So Duran was slightly past his best when he fought Duran, so maybe he would have lasted a minute longer against Hearns if he was a year younger shall we say. But seriously are you saying Duran would ever do much better than he did. When you are on the ropes like that that stuff happens.

DOnt make excuses for him. Of course he should be discredited for his loss to Hearns. Randolph Turpin has to get downgraded historically for his losses you know and dont just judge him on how well he beat SRR. Have you not heard of the saying "wait until the career is over so you can judge the whole career"

Well considering the guy considered a murderous puncher Maidana was expected to literally murder Morales shows how badly they underestimated what a shot Morales could do. Pac is the only man to stop Morales to this day. Cant you just be fair irondamhanze and not try discredit certain fighters to suit your argument all the time.

Duran is one of the greatest. He was a beast, relentless pressure fighter.

It's not Skip Bayless, is it?

one of them was chris broussard

he's a very sold basketball beat writer
and got his fame off of the lebron james decision because of his relations with lebrons camp.

                  i like the guy

but he probably knows more about particle accelerators than he does about boxing.
the other guy might have been jay crawford (first take, espn2)
or the guy who hosts sportsnation.

espn didn't even cover the NHL they aren't going to give a fair shake to anything that wont line their pockets, so they wont talk any boxing other than mayweather and pacquiao
hell, both guys could have scheduled fights against other men who will provide better fights and espn would still only talk about the prospect about the two fighting each other

espn is losing my repect quickly
i do appreciate FNF though. some good fights on there some nights.
and tessitore is growing on me, and atlas is crazy but the guy has been around boxing forever

they're getting into boxing news much more as well, which i certainly appreciate
