No one was talking about Duran being past his prime when he lost to Hearns. He was coming off wins over Moore and giving Marvin a run for his money, more so than Hearns did. So Duran was slightly past his best when he fought Duran, so maybe he would have lasted a minute longer against Hearns if he was a year younger shall we say. But seriously are you saying Duran would ever do much better than he did. When you are on the ropes like that that stuff happens.

I personally believe The Duran who beat Leonard Vs The Hearns who lost to Leonard would be a much more competitive fight but I still believe Hearns wins.

Randolph Turpin has to get downgraded historically for his losses you know and dont just judge him on how well he beat SRR. Have you not heard of the saying "wait until the career is over so you can judge the whole career"

Well considering the guy considered a murderous puncher Maidana was expected to literally murder Morales shows how badly they underestimated what a shot Morales could do.
