I didn't realize this was a forum of cun..ts. All the Mexicans or chicanos or whatever they think they are can't stand that Pacquiao is a tremendous fighter who tore through the best mexicano fighters in this decade. Whipped their asses! You f..gs need a *** change operation. Pac is the best thing in boxing since Roberto Duran. Thanks Manny Pacquiao, from a true boxing fan! And by the way, Hopkins is a common criminal who should be in prison. Not a good guy. Nope. Beat up old ladies, no remorse, a true punk.

yup, if rjj retired after he won the HW title, many would've had him as the GOAt. I'm glad he didn't tho, cause now we have a better assessment of him.

Um...no we don't. We have an assessment of what happens to a guy who puts on too much weight and then subsequently loses thirty pounds WAY too fast and struggles as a result. Combine that with the fact that he was 35 years old; speed and agility are the first things to go and those were his greatest assets.

He didn't legitimately lose a fight until his 2nd fight with Tarvar. And everyone seems to forget that he did beat him the first time.

On the whole, I do agree with the assertion that he should have retired after beating Ruiz.

yeah, but RJJ has no one else to blame for that but himself. he could've:

            1) fought hopkins before moving up to HW

            2) he could've fought another HW fight (definitely toney, possibly Wlad)

            3) he could've told tarver to move up to fight him

PAC gets FULL CREDIT because of the way HE DESTROYED COTTO and rip his heart out. Cotto even gave props to Pacquiao after the beat down, who say, "PAC is the best fighter he ever fought". Nobody thought PAC would have done what he did. You feel me..
That's not true. Look how you are trying to change history. Cotto may have beaten Mosley prior (At 147) but he wasn't #1 at WW the time Pac fought him, rather Shane was. Ummmm..... Pac already fought at 147 against Oscar and was very successful at it, so why would he need a catchweight against Cotto? If weight wasn't an issue for Pac, then the TITLE fight would have been at 147 and not 145. You sound more like a Pacquiao fan in your post than anything else. Pac gets half credit because P4P fighters should be fighting title fights at the original weight class ESPECIALLY since Pac fought there already and weighed 149 on fight night against De La Hoya. Pac fans want to give Manny full props for beating Cotto and Margarito but both were catchweight title fights. The weight was an issue because Roach considered Manny too small to compete with the bigger guys, making him take away something from the bigger men which is some LBs to give the edge to Pac. How can I be making this up when Roach said it himself?

Roach said that though a “Mosley fight is probably the most exciting because they both like to fight,” it's all about making the fight on even terms.

"I have to protect my fighter,” said Roach, who administered the terms for Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya last year. “I spoke to Shane and told him that we would fight him at 142. He said he can’t make that weight.”

Mosley asked why not 147, as Manny/Oscar was set at 147? Roach said that Mosley is not De La Hoya in terms of setting a weight handicap.
Do you understand what the word "HANDICAP" means?

You already know how it goes with the Pac community. They often make crazy posts like this.

It's funny how when Roy Jones speaks of Manny he defends him and calls him great;says he doesn't need to take the tests, takes Pacquiao's side against Floyd. And now this disrespectful midget says "I won't end up like Roy Jones' bum ass".

But you know what, I love Roy Jones and all, he's my all time favorite fighter. But he deserved this. Taking sides against your own countryman Floyd Mayweather Jr, for a Pinoy, now you get shitted on by the guy you stuck up for. You don't say shit like "I won't end up like [insert name]" unless you got something against them. If I have a friend who didn't make the right moves in life, didn't go to college, sold drugs, ended up locked up, now free but has nothing going for him, and this guy defended me when people dissed me, he had my back, and I go out and tell people "Oh i'm going to college and moving out of the hood, I don't wanna end up like that nigga Chris". That's disrespectful and a backstabbing comment to make. That's MAD disrespectful.

Like I said, Roy Jones deserved this comment. That should teach him, never to take sides against his countrymen. Especially a fellow African American who is successful and is the only real big African American crossover star in boxing right now. I wanna see if Roy has any pride and doesn't defend that backstabbing Pacquiao anymore. He could have said any other fighter that fought for too long, but he picked the guy that defends him in the media. Fucking backstabber.
