Yeah, I saw that..He was checking the score of a basketball game but
what I really saw was a totally different Mayweather, I saw him have so much respect for Cotto it was almost like he feared him and once again I have never seen Floyd in all his boxing career give so so much respect to a future opponet like he did Cotto. Two things will happen in this fight, either Floyd blows out Cotto worst than Margacheato did back in 08 with loaded gloves (which I seriously doubt) or Cotto stretches Floyd in the late rounds with a some viscous bodyshots..Im just saying..

Cotto has never talked ***** about Floyd and is a quality operator himself, a REAL Fighter and a true pro so why shouldnt Floyd respect him?

I also think instead of slating Cotto who everyone saw Manny smash, he is bigging Miguel up and playing down Pacquaio's win so HIS fight is seen as more of a risk and a genuine fight. The bet thing was a bit disrespectful but he didnt seem to be intentionally trying to get under Miguel's skin with it IMO, its just his way.... Cotto didnt seem overly bothered anyway.

Not the best face off but still well worth a watch

Mayweather was being Mayweather, playing mind games and trying to play Cotto off as not being an important matter to even give his full attention to..Cotto played him back by getting in the conversation about betting and asking how it worked..


It's hard to get a rise out of Miguel Cotto, and Mayweather tried, he failed, he'll try a different tactic come 24/7 and the weigh in..I doubt Cotto will budge, unless it gets too personal.

It looked like typical Mayweather to me though, just using appropriate tactic to the unique style of opponent.

Mayweather's not comfortable around Miguel Cotto

After watching 'Face off' I can tell Mayweather's not comfortable around Cotto. He kept fidgeting and was restless. He couldn't look Cotto straight in the eye at the beginning and him pretending he wanted to keep checking the scores was just a diversion technique. Eventually of course he started looking Cotto straight in the eye and there's no doubt Floyd has a certain amount of fear for Cotto.

I'm the biggest Mayweather fan out there but I'm sure you guys will have to admit Floyd was not comfortable.
