Everyone keeps saying how bad Mosley looked in the Mora fight, but we have to remember Mora is tall, long and ran a lot it that fight and against Floyd he didn't Look good because Floyd makes everyone look bad.Which brings us to Pacman who' defense isn't that greatest and loves to stand and trade, that will give Mosley a shot over the first 6 rds after that he will fade badly unless he juices.

What changed????

Why was it that Mayweather was catching heat when he "beat" Mosley earlier this year? How could anyone possibly give heat then but accept this fight for Pac? See the problem? Not ok for one fighter but a "dangerous" fighter for another?
Is Mayweather that great? Or do we just hold low standards for Pac?
Are people basing the two punches that hit Floyd in the second a plausible validation for Mosley being dangerous? Again, is Floyd that great that being hit twice in one round out of twelve make Mosley a "dangerous" fighter for Pac. Yet a loss, a draw, and one year later he's not so "too good" or being the #1 WW champion and they NOW say he deserves a shot?
Why now does Mosley get a shot, yet a LW champion and a WW champion must "prove" themselves? What did Clottey do? What did Margarito do? What did Shane do?
The answer. Bob has an agenda and certain fighters are not on his agenda. People want to point at Floyd for a fight not being made but ignore Bob Arum and his agenda.

Selling this fight is ridiculous. Accept that it's a bad fight, Mosley should have retired after getting embarrassed by Mora, he won't be able to chase Pacquiao for more than 2 rounds, and by the end of the night he'll be in the hospital because he can't hang in a professional boxing match without the roids and EPO.

There is no hindsight for Pac vs Mosley because everyone knows NOW that Mosley is shot and wont beat Pac in a 12 round boxing match. Unlike when Floyd Mayweather fought the #1 "too good" WW Champion in Shane Mosley that Pac wanted no part of. Just like Top Rank/Pac want no part in facing the undefeated WBC WW Champion in Berto, or a LW Champion in JMM. Arum explains that they must fight each other to deserve a fight with Pac. Yet Clottey, Margarito and now Mosley have done nothing of the kind. NONE had titles or coming off wins to earn a fight.
Bob Arum has an agenda.
How do expect Pac to get in the ring with "a fighter like Mayweather" when Pac wont even get in a ring with a legit Champion from 135 to 154? With Bob Arum in the picture, he will not allow a Mayweather vs Pac fight to happen on his watch. Bob who promoted Mayweather knows that is too much of a threat. Just as Mosley was "too good" or Martinez is "too big". Its not hard math. Bob has an agenda and even came clean by saying he couldn't care any less if Mayweather Pac didn't fight. Hew also said he doesn't care about what the fans think. He has an agenda and its not about "ability", "availability" but about "marketability". It doesn't matter who's around or who's on vacation, he has an agenda and certain fighters where never apart of it... its very clear.

Obviously Merchant is saying BS in order to sell this fight. He works for HBO, remember?
Marquez and Berto would've been much more dangerous opponents for Pacquiao. Marquez arguably beat Pacquiao already and Berto is a prime, fast-handed fighter with decent pop in his punches.
Mosley is just shot.

Spot on, mate. And I like Pacquiao, but this is pathetic and Manny should be ashamed for accepting this fight while leaving guys like JMM and even Andre Berto out of the picture.
I don't know how people think that this fight is going to be entertaining. What fight is entertaining where a guy can't fight for more than a couple of rounds?
Pacquiao will stay on the outside going around Mosley for four rounds, Mosley will chase, tire, and then be a sitting duck for the onslaught.
