Mosley seems shot to hell, as a fighter and as a promotional asset.
Berto himself is a decent challenge for Manny but doesn't bring any
promo clout to the table. Floyd and Pac are almost certainly NEVER
going to fight.

If Pac's a real JMW champ, then he should take on other JMW.
Heck, if Sergio is also throwing in his MW belt into the darn pot (it
would be a legit MW defense if at 154 or even lower!), then Pac
just HAS to be tempted to take the challenge. Question is whether
Arum, Koncz and even Pac's doctors allow it.

The papers in Manila were recently headlining medical experts'
opinion that Pac should quit immediately. There was concern over
his latest neuro exams (post-Margarito).

I don't agree that Mosley is shot, he is faded no doubt about that, but his last two fights have been stylistic nightmares. I got Shane over Berto if they meet right now. And I think that the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight will definitely happen.

But he's not, you must know that. And Martinez would kill Manny. He is a rare late-bloomer, is very sharp, and he is absolutely on top of his game right now, and would be way too much for Manny. Especially in light of the health concerns you pointed out.

You cannot compare this version of Martinez with any version of Margarito.

anyone who thinks pac should fight for the middleweight title are deluded. People calling for that are crazy and just haters who wanna see him lose. Hed be 30 pounds lighter than his opponent on fight night and even if he won, his body would be so sore hed need a year off. Even martinez at 154 isnt going to happen , pac only weighed in at 144 for his 150 fight against margarito and on fight night was 17 pounds less than marga imagine the difference against martinez even at 154. He obviously won easily but the fight still took a toll on his body even though he didnt get hit allot. I for one wanna see him at his best for a couple more years and realistically he should be boxing at 140 and 147 , no higher. Mabye hes farewell fight he can try something like 154 v a guy like martinez for one last legacy crack , but in reality its getttin ridiculous the weights people are wantin to fight at and the size of the opponents they want him to fight and its ussauly coming from haters saying "he should fight a real champion like martinez at MW and well see how good he really is" and thats such bull****, why dont they call for martinez to fight a cruiserweight.

pacquiao is not great he fights old and washed up fighter after the fight.....he fights weight drained fighters but comes 10+ lbs lighter oh yeah pac always fight with big advantage hahaha!!!!!!!!!very funny hahahaha!!!!!!!i am starting to realize thet pac is not great at all...thanks to you pachaters hahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cotto was weight drained by 1 lb....hahaha.....even the margarito fight critics says margarito is a done fighte3r coming from loses...but it was still a very big disadvantage for him being 17lbs heavier than his opponent wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i'd never thought that a guy having 17lbs heavier is in big disadvantage...thanks to you pachaters...pac is not great!!!!!!!!!!!period....clottey is also a bum...period........if clottey and berto will fight whose gonna win????or mayweather vs clottey??????clottey won over judah and split dec over cotto....cotto is a BUM also accdng to pachaters...i never know that now i know...thanks to all pachaters thanks!!!!!!!!

yes!!!!!pac should depend his title on 154 bec he is the champ...a 144 pounder vs 154 pounder and a 147 pounder vs 160+ pounder come fight night.......a big advantage for pac because martinez is weight drained at fight night....if they fight lower than 154 martinez will be severely weight drained come fight night.......don't blame pac even without catchweight he can beat them all.....its not him to decide...its their promoter and coaching staff....promoters finds opponents which generates more income whilst coaches tries to negotiate weight issues...coaches are meticulous regarding wieght issues but in reality it is in the training program wether a fighter makes weight or not...2.2lbs is just 1 liter of water.
