Not to discredit him but MAB had around 60 fights, most of them being wars, by the time Pac faced him. He lost pretty handily to Erik Morales the first time they fought and only beat Morales AFTER he got schooled by Zahir Raheem and could no longer make 130 lbs.

So yes Pacquaio beat two hall of famers relatively early in his career but both were guys who deteriotated young.

P.S. Though we will never know I am certain that Floyd Mayweather could beat Barrera, come on the dude lost to DAVID DIAZ and he'd more than likely beat Morales who lost to a "slick" fighter the first time he faced one.
Barrera was coming off the best string of wins in his career at the time he faced pacquiao and was #3 p4p while pacquiao was a virtual unknown and a double digit underdog coming into the fight.

Morales lost to Raheem at 135lbs attempting to win a title in his 4th weight division and did not hurt his career or legacy or standing in the 130lb division because the feat had never before been accomplished by a mexican fighter.
