You will never find a rival unless you challenge yourself consistantly......something Floyd hasn't done in his career.

For all we know:
Casa at 130
Johnston at 135
Tszyu at 140
Cotto at 147
Margarito 147
Williams at 147
Winky at 154

and a bunch of other fighters could have fit that bill. To assume he was just too good as to why he didn't have a rival is a bit naive IMO.

Floyd challenged himself right out of the gates in his career with big wins over experienced fighters like Genaro Hernandez, Angel Manfredy, a killer in Diego Corrales and the beast JL Castillo...

It was after the Castillo fight where Floyd took a leave of absence from fighting the best...thats just the truth.

Floyd's fight with Sugar Shane is refreshing and I hope Floyd is once again committed to fighting the top notch guys.

All this back and forth with Pac and May... The fight hasnt even been signed yet and these forums are lit. I dont even wanna know what this place will look like come the month of the fight! Floyd has never had his ass on the mat, his -0- taken away, and a opponent who comes close to being as talented as he is. Im not a Floyd **** rider or a Pac hater. Im a fan of BOXING.

Castillo gave him all he could handle and then some. But I guess the main difference is that Castillo isn't really a great fighter just a good one.
