Very true and people are still saying boxing is dying smh... I guess they just keep saying that hoping it comes true but the truth is BOXING IS HERE TO STAY AND THE ULTIMATE COMBAT SPORT, THERE IS NO BETTER!!

Only reason people say that is because they don't like what the heavy weight division has become so they write off the whole sport. Its unfortunate people think that way.

When Floyd does 700k buys on his name alone, then let me know, and NO Floyd didnt carry the JMM fight on his name solely. JMM has a huge mexican fanbase and Floyd himself said that he's fighting Marquez because he has an entire country behind him. Until then, 700k buys for a fighter carrying a ppv all by himself with very little promotion is more than impressive.

The last ppv that Floyd carried on his name alone was when he fought Baldomir, and that fight did around 400k if i'm not mistaking.

Ross Greenburg knows best, he expected to only 500k buys & very pleased that it has registered a 700k buys (Greenburg quoted, "We didn't think Manny could carry the load to this degree. He's attracting more than just the hardcore boxing fans."...

One more thing, do you have any facts of Floyd's average is a million buys w/out the Dela Hoya fight...A Dela Hoya fight is the one that affects his average, and we all know that Oscar is the one who is the signatured cash cow...The only other fight who took over a million buys is w/ Hatton...We all also knew that Oscar & Hatton were big attractions at their own rights...Even Dela Hoya has only 3 fights of over 1M PPV buys, that is w/ Floyd(2.15M), Trinidad(1.4M) & Hopkins(1M).

700k ppvs is absolutely stunning number considering the huge backlash that the pac vs mayweather fight didnt happen. add the fact that it was against joshua clottey, a virtual unknown to the main******, plus the 50k plus live attendance this is absolutely a win for pacquiao.

Floyd is american, shane is american. All made their main****** mark in the higher weight class. They are suppose to draw better. Pac is from the philippines, clottey is from ghana.
