NOT the arrogant ass he can be that smart-fully sells the fight......
That's the real Floyd at the end of the fight especially at 4:13..Last edited by Carpe Diem; 03-23-2010, 08:20 PM.

There is a reason he "acts" the way he does OUTSIDE of the ring. He's a business man that puts on a show as a villain just like you would see in a movie.
His skills in the ring is what pisses everyone off at the end of the day. Its too bad that he's going to tell everyone of you that he just doubled Pacs numbers and making 2 to 3 times more money while fighting the #1 WW.
But hey Pac did the "right" thing right? lol People wont be so forgiving later this year if he ducks again to "run" to politics.......Last edited by King Ju-Ju; 03-23-2010, 08:32 PM.

May-JMM was similar in a way, but everyone was curious to see Floyd then because it was his come-back fight after a nearly 2 year lay-off. And JMM brings a lot more to the table than Clottey does anyway.
If Floyd fought Clottey now and got more than 700k, I'd be very surprised.

The media ripped Mayweather-Marquez apart saying it was a complete mismatch and it still did over 1million buys so how can yall use bad media as an excuse. 700K is a decent number but its not indicative of the greatest draw in the sport. I remember watching espn the day of marquez and a broadcaster saying Tonight mayweather fights marquez "If you like that sort of thing". They downplayed that **** to the max saying it was a BS fight... The pac-clottey fight was not represented as such by the media. I'm sorry but this is reason enough for floyd to fairly ask for the lion's share. If your angry about that take it up with team pac they were really better off just resting manny until the fall this fight did nothing but hurt him at the bargaining table. It sounds like they aren't trying to make the fight anyway though so it may not even matter to them.

Good numbers. I hope Clottey gets some decent fights going forward with this exposure as well. Wasnt his best performance but I'll still tune in to see him in the future. Pac is a huge star in the sport. a couple years ago no fighter not named Oscar De La Hoya could put up big numbers like this. Manny and Floyd have changed that and they are doing it at the same period of time. Incredible.

Fraud Gayweather had to postpone the Marquez fight because of the ****ty interest to allow more time to re-market the fight more agressively... People bought the fight to watch Marquez anyways
