Nickers should really learn something, first about boxing, and then, about objective

So as to avoid Keeping reproducing all that rubbish you wrote, I'll just add, that if you really (which I doubt) want to know the TRUE facts about the Rahman fight and the "postponments" just ask me, I'll be glad to tell you.

AND, by the way, Rahman wasn't left high and dry or whatever nonsense you wrote..... Rahman was lucky that he didn't fight Klitschko or his career would have been completely over right after the fight, instead of spluttering on for a few years.

Give it up V... Lennox is not coming out to fight, you got a better chance of Floyd throwing away the blood test deal with Manny before he comes out of retirement... Catch my drift?

I was a big fan of Vitali then. Never liked Lewis and thought of him as a ***** for saying he would give Vitali a rematch but walked/RAN away to retirement.

Still cant beleieve it took Lewis as long as it did to KO (the post prison) Tyson. Tyson before Cos died would have murdered Lewis.

Anyway Vitali deserved a rematch! He's champ now, he can do what he wants until someone else says otherwise. Hopefully Haye will make some noise.
Good list, but instead of Mayweather I'd have Whitaker, instead of Oscar I'd have Hagler, and instead of Martinez i'd have Hearns.

It's understandable that Vitali is bitter about this. He was so close to winning the fight. The bottom line is that he lost, fair and square. Who can blame Lennox for calling it a career after that life and death battle? Even if Vitali had won the rematch (which he would have in all likelihood) the win would have been diminished by most because Lennox was so far past it.

Vitali should have had some class, and just said "you were lucky" and leave it at that.

Whining and moaning about it for 10 years is pathetic.

Your criticism would be justified if it were not for the fact that Lennox talks **** too.

-He has picked almost every Vitali opponent to beat Vitali since their fight when he's on HBO. Vicariously living through other HW's in hopes that they'll beat him.

-His offering to train Haye for a Vitali fight.

-His never ending "had the fight continued i would have knocked him out" " had the fight continued...."

If he's so confident then he should have rematched him like he promised.

In all the pre fight interviews he said he was going to fight a couple more fights, Jones jr, Tyson rematch, etc no retirement talk, yet after the Vitali fight..................

                THE TRUTH

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis was badly hurt and was staggering around the ring like a drunk, he barely survived the 2nd round. Lewis was getting outworked, outlanded and was hurt several times in the fight.

                punches landed

                Vitali 156

                Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted and worn down from the accumulation of punches, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission that night and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

Vitali intimidated the **** out of the scared Lewis after the fight and made him look like a *****. All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and boo'd Lewis after the fight.

                Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 25 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.
hey you forgot to mention that vitali's face looked like an opened can of tuna fish. and the stoppage was a good one. vitali's health was at risk due to that shark bite of a cut he had on his face. the fighters health is more important than the "W". i do think vitali would have had a shot at the "W" upon rematch. but who knows. maby lewis would have stayed out of the doughnut shop and in the gym for the rematch.

                  I'm not doin stan's exuses.

Look,Vitali get cut against Johnson altough Johnson throwed nothing and can't punch. That says a lot.

Vitali cuts easy, and it's the easier way to beat him.
                  Props to Lennox,he did it.

                  BUT,look the last Valero's fight,the cut was a bad,Valero had a teen's vagina on his head.
The ref could have stop as well.At the end Valero won.

The ref was a **** because the fight would have last two more rounds.

And like I said,Lewis promised a rematch, and Vitali won the round 6 just before the stoppage.
Everybody would be bitter. The fight was the two best heavies of the last 10,maybe 15 years.

I'm not telling bs like"Vit would have beat him",but just,I totaly understand his bitterness.
And altough it's a loss on his record,he proved he can fight in that one.

And Vit vs Lennox is the best HW's fight I saw in the last decade HANDS DOWN.
Here is the real fan talk.
hahahahahahahahahahaha valero had a teens vagina on his head LOL LOL LOL LOL. the difference is today they have superior meds to control the bleeding. plus IMO the cut vitali sustained was worse than valeros a teen vagina thats just too funny. there is always some clever stuff posted on this site THANK YOU

i agree!!! i think tyson was at his best under kevin rooney. under rooney most of his ko's came from accumilation of punches insted of just one punch. to me mike tyson was one of the most complete fighters i have ever seen. fast hands, excellent foot work good defence and a bad attitude and knew how to finish an opponet. i still havent noticed any heavy wt with head movement like tysons. the man was ruined by don king and his own desire to go for one punch ko's insted of breaking down his opposition.

What's with the editorial attached on a news story? Doesn't this limey prick junk scribbler know Lennox is a Canadian?

Vitali kicked Lennox's ass into retirement. Period. And there was no talk about Lennox being "old" or "shot" until Vitali kicked his ass. Even Lewis said he was at the top of his game before the Vitali fight. The rest is revisionist history by Lewis apologists. Lewis as champ was hardly perfect: Vitali would never have been KO'd by bums like Hasbeen Rahman and Crack Baby McCall.
