Muratalla would be wise to fight someone else and get a nice payday before Andy Cruz relieves him of his title. Muratalla doesn't have any " Special Effects" while Cruz has more than a few.

Correct. What is Malinagi smoking? Andy Cruz will eat Muratalla alive for breakfast and then have someone else for lunch. Anyway, Top Rank has good matchmakers which means they will not approve of that fight in a hurry.

Muratalla is a good fighter but Cruz has several more dimensions to his game and will beat him soundly. Top Rank won’t be rushing to make that fight and I’m sure we will see Muratalla in a relatively soft title defense to maximize his earnings as a belt holder before the IBF orders that mandatory bout.

Robert Garcia is incorrect - Kambosos did not “talk his way” into big fights. He earned it. He fought all over the world - Malaysia, Greece, the UK and the US to become mandatory challenger for a world title shot. Working his way up the rankings - he beat Mickey Bey in an IBF eliminator in the US, then beat Lee Selby in an IBF final eliminator in the UK to become the IBF mandatory challenger to Teofimo Lopez.
He then travelled to the US again and scored a stunning upset win over Lopez to become unified lightweight world champion, which led to an undisputed lightweight title unification against Devin Haney. He earned it the hard way and maximized his earnings in the sport. You could call him a massive overachiever who worked his way up the ranks through sheer hard work, grit and determination and ended up with WBO, WBA, IBF & Ring Magazine world titles in his trophy cabinet along with a WBC Franchise belt and several 8-figure paydays. But he earned it, he didn’t talk his way into his world title shot or the massive paydays vs Lopez & Haney.

Malignaggi talking like a guy who is bitter Kambosos has double the amount of world title belts in his trophy cabinet than he does and has earned far more money in the sport than he did.

Paulie thinks that he was better than he was. If they were to fight , prime vs prime , I'd pick Kambosos to beat him.

I'm sorry but I dont get Cruz. Sure he's a real good boxer but I havent seen anything to make me think he can defeat any of the top in either the LW or SLW division.

He is on the fast track. How many fighters with debuting would be taking on a 35-7, his 5th 20-1, and 6th 17-1

I'd definitely bet on Paulie to win that matchup!
