Arum Says Cotto Brings More To Pacquiao Than Mosley

The only fight lost by Cotto could be questionable because Margacheata was caught before she can repeat same action against Mosley. Sometimes trainers do not pay attention to the rivals of their own, that’s why Margacheata fought with a cast on his fist and hurt badly Cotto. Cotto is a gentlemen in the ring and he has proved many times. When Cotto was down, , that mean if Cotto would want to play like he was hurt and act like he was knocked out, that victory would go to Cotto for disqualification. Like I said before, there is no question Cotto is a warrior and Margacheata hit him when he had his knee downa gentlemen at the same time. He fought with one eye, NY Boxing Commission did not do the job by exposing Cotto to a severe injury, but you know what Cotto completed the fight against Clottey and won by split decision, which I believe should be by unanimous decision. Cotto deserve the fight to Pacquiao and Mosley should shut the hell up and stop being like a girl.
You aint lyin about that, i always saw that but no use in arguin that because its just a waste of time, but you are 100% right, i wondered why they didnt do anything about that.

But in the meantime, while Cotto is fighting Pac, Mosley needs to fight someone. He's too old to be twiddling his thumbs, accumulating ring rust. And there are plenty of top Welterweights who are available to fight him.

If we are talking about rating a WW we need to consider the following.
As a WW Mosley's record since 2006 is 2 and 1 with 1 ko. That lost was against Cotto. He also had 3 more fights during this period but not as WW. I must add that all the 3 WW fights were for a title.
As a WW Cotto's record since 2006 is 7 and 1 with 5 ko. That lost was against Margarito. All the 8 fights for a title.
I do not beleive that with these facts and numbers Mosley should not be rated over Cotto as a WW.
Cotto has way much better record as a WW and better KO ratio for the last 3 years. Hell even this year Cotto has already fought twice going to his 3rd at WW and Mosley has fought once.
To be rated over Cotto as a WW IMO Mosley needs 1st beat Cotto, fight as much as Cotto in WW and dominate as much as Cotto in WW 5 ko out of 8 since he got to the division. Whatever Mosley those in other division don't count when you rate him as a WW.

Let's just wait and see who's the better fighter. We can write a lot of comments and observations but nothing is concrete until both of them battle inside the ring. However, who ever wins; hopefully the fans on both sides will accept the final result. No bul l**** excuses...

Maybe they can make cooked up some story line between SSM and PBF... unless PBF got "injured" once again...
Besides, boxing is a business... you can't blame Arum if he wants all the marble this time around and not to share it with GBP...
ODLH, is so greedy he fought Pacman instead of his fighters... now, they have nothing... all of his fighters are old and gray.... LOL...

Cotto & margarito not the same after that war!
Someone in this forum said that cotto is not the same since the war with tony . I have to agree , he is a smarter fighter palying to his strengths and avoiding his weeknesses. I have to say that tony took an ass whooping that night too but it was overshadowed by his victory. Think about it, i dont care what ****m did to mosley if tony had not fought cotto in july i dont think mosley would have been able to knock tony out. Just to think what an ******* tony and his team were. They had the hype machine working for them and they threw it all away! Would like to see tony vs cotto 2, tony vs clottey 2, and tony vs williams 2! Damn!!!

It may be true, but the better more competitive fight is with Mosley.I truely think that Cotto, as good as he is, has peaked and is on his down side. I know that sounds crazy but there are some signs. Arum knows it and wants to profit off of him now.Plus he knows his cash cow( Pacquiao) has a much better chance against him.If given the chance, Mosley will defeat both of these guys. With his new trainer, ****r, he possibly knocks them out.
