Khan is a superior boxer to Ortiz. If Khan develops a good defence under Roach(Which he showed signs in against Barrera) then his boxing skills should be enough in this fight?

Khan's hand speed and accruacy - His footwork is underrated IMO. He has more then enough tools to get the job done against Ortiz.
I believe you are completely correct. Khan looks much better now that he's joined the Wildcard with Trainer Roach. JAT

Warren is not ******, he knows Khan would get slaughtered, so why would he put his most popular fighter in against such a big risk? Because the WBA says so? Nah man, you got it twisted.

      I doubt that highly.

Like i said if Khan vacates the title then he's clearly ducking Ortiz. Straight up.

LOL @ Khans 'improved defense'. Barerra didnt thow **** in the fight yet he still caught Khan, if i remember correctly, in the 1st round.

No one underrates his hand speed. The guys a fast fighter. Thats his main attribute which everyone on here appreciates. But his footwork ent so great.

I said IF Khan develops a good defense, and he did show SIGNS of a good defense against Barrera.

A lot of people thought Khan would get KTFO with the first punch Barrera landed.

Khan's boxing skills partnered with a good defense would be more then enough to beat Ortiz IMO.

You cant be serious. Only a mexican fan would have said that. Everyone else with half a brain cell knew this was a mismatch.

Ortiz looks far more polished than Khan at this point to me. Khan is flashy with his blurring handspeed and combinations but Ortiz looks like the full package, devastating power and all

Khan's footwork is underrated but his offense is overrated. IMO. Especially since Roach has been working on his defense... He throws for the sake of throwing a lot and hits nothing but arms and air

How about you hit the search button and look through the archives. Not everyone on here is Mexican.

I can't tell you how much i disagree with that fella. Khan's pouch accuracy is beautiful. One of the best out there IMO.

Yes some shots hit arms, but 'Air shots'? Na, i ain't seen many of those from Khan. He near enough always lands when he throws.

I should have said glancing shots or misconnects as opposed to air shots

And it'll continue to get worse as he continues to steady up his technique and get his defense water-tight.

The exciting Khan that everyone fell in love with is a memory now, especially at 140lbs where he will hold less physical advantages
