well he beat the balls off oscar de la hoya in sparring. and like ive said man the big fights are yet to come. Remember, he signed to fight the guy that amir is fighting in june.

if prescott, a c+ puncher with nothing else going for him can spark khan out then ortiz definitely can. Khans range and handspeed might be an issue, and i think he's technically the better boxer, but i'd never pick khan against a puncher of any sort, especially not against someone like ortiz

Are you serious? The WBA can't tell a Warren cash cow what to do, if Khan does win, I could easily see them vacating that title to fight Hatton or Morales or someone else with a bigger name that pose less of a risk. Warren is not ******, he knows Khan would get slaughtered, so why would he put his most popular fighter in against such a big risk? Because the WBA says so? Nah man, you got it twisted.

Ortiz is by far the more complete fighter, easy stoppage IMO
If this fight is made as soon as this year, a loss could really ruin Khan's next options...

The amateurs mean nothing in the pros.

                    Ortiz takes Khan out.

There has been several cases where a fighter gets owned in the amateurs by another fighter, then they fight again as pros and it's a whole different story.
I still can't believe people still use Khan's 'Chin' line over and over again.

Khan is a superior boxer to Ortiz. If Khan develops a good defence under Roach(Which he showed signs in against Barrera) then his boxing skills should be enough in this fight?

Khan's hand speed and accruacy - His footwork is underrated IMO. He has more then enough tools to get the job done against Ortiz.
