The recently announced freak match does not interest me at all as a fight, not in the least. But I find its parameters highly intriguing. The match is with Camacho jr., except he will fight three different opponents in the match. First he will fight Chavez jr, then the next two rounds will be against Omar Chavez. The finally, the last two rounds will see him contest the geezer himself, Julio Caesar Chavez sr.
It is highly encouraging for the future of the sport (freak matching) that these boys are willing to bend the parameters anywhere they want for entertainment purposes. The bad thing for the sport, of course, is that this PPV is barely going to sell outside Mexico, and may thereby discourage others from freak matching.
