Your reading comprehension is almost as bad as your childlike typing. Of course the odds makers can't make a line based on how the bets come in. That is impossible. They anticipate where the money will go and establish a betting line that will (ideally) attract two sided betting. I'm well aware of how bookmaking is done and have plenty of experience ******** on sports.
This has drifted WAY off topic and I won't comment on it any further. We can return to boxing where you can try and convince everyone that a fat Foreman in his 40's was better than the lean Foreman in his 20's. Or how Tyson was the greatest defensive fighter ever and it isn't even arguable. That's plenty of great material for humor.
You can contradict all you like, you know you said its up to the fans who the favorite is.I not only said Foreman in his 40's was better so did ANGELO DUNDEE...you probably don't even know who that is since you really think the strong man 250 foreman was fat and out of shape....Really you are the child here...anything else related to the actual thread..don't you want to continue crying why I picked a prime Tyson as my number one pick over your very hittable ali who got plasted often and even saved by the bell?

I said that the betting action effects the odds, not establishes them. Try proving where I said otherwise.
Angelo Dundee trained Foreman during his comeback, and Dundee always knew who he worked for. Foreman was in decent shape, but was fat in his comeback. That's why he said that if he fought Holyfield again he would lose weight and get in better shape. Since you are so dependent on quotes being unquestioned evidence...
Helpful hint: more spacebar and less emoticons. It would be nice to feel like I'm arguing with an adult.

I dont have to try proving you clearly fought me on my stance that it was indeed a FACT that odds makers get the favorite through statistics and ironically you still apperently cant just admit the FACT they use math to do so ,how else do they come to the conclusion of doing so,do they pick out of a hat? The betting action has nothing to do with the odds ,the odds have tto be in place first for any betting to occur ,then and only then can they make a slight shift .
Foreman did strong man traing such as weights , pulling cars ,small trucks and so forth in the late 80's thru the 90's ,he never really trained hard for cardio in the 70's however he in his comeback jogged alot more, chopped wood and hit the bag for hours unlike his 30 minute sessions as a young 20's ,he was more relaxed in the ring also this also was the reason for Foremans unbelievable stamina at age 38 thru his 40's coupled with his stronger legs in a girthier body again anyone who actually studies boxing and doesnt make uneducated claims due to someones age would know this .If you want to know what would happen or discuss Foreman i have outlined what would happen in the fantasy section 1974 Foreman vs 1991 Foreman this isnt the thread for it,unless it was about worst defensive fighters in history than 70's Foreman would surely have a place there. You and joseph are more than welcome and while you're at it you might want to check the comment below me...
Tyson surely is one of the best defensive boxers of all-time, which sounds kind of paradoxal
Finally someone who knows what they are talking about right here above me....was beginning to think practically all logic had left the forum in this section....Tucker was also a good clip to use,he couldn't land on Tyson either.
Mike mc tigue, he used to work in this gym place for posh people showing them how to box in the 1900s/20s in new york,he learned that if he hit them back, they wouldnt come back, so he would do rounds and rounds of boxing and not hit back, so he learned of ways to protect himself better and when he left that place he became a defecive fighter, which was rare enough back then i suppose,it wasnt until his 66th fight that he suffered his 1st KO loss, and was like 89 fights after that his second,a couple of tkos,6in total, not bad at all for over 180 fights!!
